Idk i don't really like seafood, but fish tacos/salmon from Japanese restaurants always slap
Salmon's okay, and I like some shark. But with pretty much all seafood I can only eat a bit of it before I get sick to my stomach. Except for ahi tuna, I can fuck that shit up.
seriously SZA with that one album would top a day at Coachella or are you just trying to lower the standards for headliners for strategic reasons?
crowd was huge, she's got a big following (especially among the "coachella" demo), she's had big hits since the album, and with another, yeah, sure fire.

she already subbed, and she's bigger since then. the only option really is to headline, but I was also assuming if she plays again it would be with a new album I guess. Plus we know for a fact she's getting headliner money.

“and with another”... sure if she drops another during this draft Ill update my view of it.

By that logic anyone who’s subbed and made one or two additional popular songs is a headliner now (Janelle, Lana, Bon Iver).
I don't really know what Im talking about with Coachella, but Im struggling to imagine them betting on and artist with like 5 popular songs mostly from 2017 or early 18.

Dunno, I think we're just looking at it differently. Bon Iver has subbed twice and is arguably less popular now than his peak. I think for some artists their trajectory just makes sense that they would headline next time they play. Frank Ocean before 2020 would obviously a headliner if he was booked. Someone like Tyler The Creator makes sense as a headliner in this for me and that's how I feel about SZA. She was also #1 at III Points last time she was playing fests.

im not sure any of our sub lines (besides maybe cdev) are going to be able to actually reach the size of a real coachella lineup (without dipping into some of the acts that are less popular around here)

yeah... tbh the idea of being able to draft an act as many times as they’ve played the fest is looking juicier as the list dwindles.

i guess only having 16 people would of helped w that also but yeah, still really want us to do that at some point
we can try that next time... I'll need your help to update the master list though. You up for that?
What if we did like a google doc masterlist for next time so everyone can edit when we make a pick?
Bing and I have some kind of google doc for this draft so we can cross check and update when picks are made.
We can definitely do what you suggest, but we still gotta make a list in advance to count how many acts have played this before so that people can know how many Hot Chips are left to pick.
