Am I missing something or is there a reason you don't want to do day 3?
Because I just want to lynch NBF on Day 3 to basically guarantee we have 2 mafia dead before Day 4 in one way or another.
This is pretty much my thinking. We can lynch Kanye today, and if NBF is inspector she will probably be dead tonight anyways, and we know we have at least 1 mafia dead. If NBF doesn't die tonight, we can lynch tomorrow. It's the safest move.

I’m up and have reread everything. I’m happy to answer any questions if anybody asks me to, but I unfortunately don’t have any great insight at this point. Rereading, basically everyone said something that made me suspicious and something else to make me think my suspicion is unfounded, so I’m having trouble picking out any one person to really focus on.

This makes sense to me. Either way NBF and Kanye are both dying, and I guess letting NBF survive into the night may give us more info.
I was considering going onto NBF temporarily to see which way Dan went with it, but I was then planning to go onto Silver after that anyway—and with rooloo’s vote switch we don’t have that same opportunity for info from Dan at a split vote where he has to choose. So, I’ll skip that step and go ahead with where I was going to land:
Rummy>Silver
I’m not at all convinced NBF isn’t lying. But as a couple folks have pointed out, getting Silver out D2 and waiting to see what happens overnight is a better move for town right now. Leaving Silver hanging around when there’s a non-zero chance he’s mafia but a ZERO (essentially, lol) chance he’s inspector seems a much worse call than giving NBF, who is >0% likelihood of being our inspector, one more night/day to see what happens there.

Ok I’m all caught up and just want to say WHAT THE FUCK ARE YALL DOING?????? We should be lynching NBF here and I’m surprised (and honestly even suspicious) a lot of the longtime players are trying to straight up give surfer the axe.
Here’s a rule I learned in 94: if a claimed inspector makes it past the night - you lynch them.

Not even being defensive, it doesn't make sense. Obviously to me I know she's lying and that's all I can say. I'm not gonna write paragraphs of why, she just is and that's it.
Every single game I have tried to make the argument that mafia might not try to whack the inspector n1 and instead go for the misdirect. Yet for some reason in this game, that's all everyone thinks is happening. What happened to whacking the inspector being the #1 priority for mafia?
It genuinely doesn't make any sense to me why we as town would choose to lynch someone named by a lying inspector BEFORE the lying inspector.

As in, maybe you're the third mafia member, and that you all thought that, surely, if you whacked Jaz, it would cast doubt on me and I'd get lynched without y'all having to kill me in the night and bring more credibility to my true claim of being the inspector? But now that plan appears to be backfiring so you're going to come out guns blazing and try to turn things around by acting outraged to get the people voting for Kanye to doubt themselves? The only thing that makes me think maybe I'm wrong here is that it almost seems too transparent, but sometimes, the obvious answer is the right answer.

1. NBF counter reveals so the doctor doesn’t have an easy nighttime decision.
2. Mafia whacks the real inspector and doctor picks wrong
3. Mafia comes out with the narrative that we need to vote Kanye instead of the person who claims inspector but somehow mafia doesn’t whack.
I really, really think the thought mafia would whack their own here, while possible, should not be everyone’s first instinct. Why would mafia not just keep both inspectors alive to sow doubt? Because the information from one of them will be too powerful.

Because there's a lot less reason for the mafia to whack Silver Surfer tonight. If he is mafia, they wouldn't want to lose another member. If he's not mafia (which he is, but for the purposes of making my point), it makes him look guilty to keep living through the night and takes suspicion away from the actual mafia. Of course, it's not completely outside the realm of possibility that they could whack Kanye tonight if they really believe that the third member is under the radar and can carry the rest of the game.
There is much more reason to whack me in the night, although it also gives credibility to my claim if they do. You get more information if you leave me alive today. It's not perfect information either way. Depending on who the remaining mafia members are, they could really go either way with me in the night. On the one hand, if they whack me, they do lend credibility to my claim that way, but also, they will argue that "mafia whacked one of their own to misdirect," and they prevent me from revealing any other information in Day 3. If they don't whack me, they get to argue that I'm guilty because I'm still alive. So it's not totally clear, but it's more information than you get by killing me today and leaving Kanye alive.
And if you're planning on killing me in Day 3 either way, which is what it seems like other people are saying, why not leave me alive one more day to see if I'm still around for Day 3?
