Nah I was just saying it's possible you're town, which I still believe. Also like two posts after the one you quoted I detailed why I thought that and the possibilities of it. If you want to read it that way, be my guest. The fact of the matter is one inspector got whacked and one didn’t. Why should I be voting (or much less, listening) to the inspector mafia kept alive?
Because there's a lot less reason for the mafia to whack Silver Surfer tonight. If he is mafia, they wouldn't want to lose another member. If he's not mafia (which he is, but for the purposes of making my point), it makes him look guilty to keep living through the night and takes suspicion away from the actual mafia. Of course, it's not completely outside the realm of possibility that they could whack Kanye tonight if they really believe that the third member is under the radar and can carry the rest of the game.
There is much more reason to whack me in the night, although it also gives credibility to my claim if they do. You get more information if you leave me alive today. It's not perfect information either way. Depending on who the remaining mafia members are, they could really go either way with me in the night. On the one hand, if they whack me, they do lend credibility to my claim that way, but also, they will argue that "mafia whacked one of their own to misdirect," and they prevent me from revealing any other information in Day 3. If they don't whack me, they get to argue that I'm guilty because I'm still alive. So it's not totally clear, but it's more information than you get by killing me today and leaving Kanye alive.
And if you're planning on killing me in Day 3 either way, which is what it seems like other people are saying, why not leave me alive one more day to see if I'm still around for Day 3?
We already got all the information needed from the first whack. Weather or not mafia whacks you tonight will provide us nothing.

I also want to reiterate for the record that my vote being on Silver rn isn’t a declaration of my opinion that he’s mafia. I genuinely don’t know whether I believe Jaz (who unfortunately we can’t ask questions to anymore) or NBF (who we can, but should I trust anything she says?), but I see the logic in killing him off first to see what happens overnight.
However, Dan, I also hear you on the notion we might be playing directly into Mafia’s hand rn. My vote is not locked, to be clear (and IMO no one’s really should be except Silver and NBF but maybe I view the significance of locked votes differently than some of y’all).

I guess that’s the disconnect from where I am, and where a lot of people claim to be. Jaz was the whack so I’m going to believe him over the “inspector” mafia didn’t care about. Mafia is probably going to whack the real inspector before one of their own.

So then why are we even attacking me then? If that's your thinking then I'm gonna be cleared tomorrow. Why wouldn't we try to maybe even try to get potential teammates or something today. It just seems like a waste of time if we're only waiting till d3 to actually decide anything. And then I'm caught in the middle of it which is so frustrating
The town has a decision to make: Jaz was inspector, or NBF. The longer this decision takes, the muddier the waters get. Drawing this discussion out creates more opportunities for the mafia to sow discord, and I think it's in our best interest to follow one lead to the bitter end.

Interesting since you were the only one voting to lynch Jaz other than LD and NBF in the final tally I see from Day 1.
If you actually look at the post where I voted, I said I was only trying to avoid a complete landslide.
Only because right now it's a landslide vote and I'm curious if getting things a little more evened up gets some information out there via vote switches or whatever. Please note this does NOT mean I believe NBF, or do not believe Jaz, or vice versa.

If there’s one thing I know about mafia, it’s that it’s dangerous to ever be 100% sure of anything. Your sentiment here can give the mafia confidence that they can leave me alive knowing that some people would take it as absolute evidence of my guilt.
Also, I take it from what people have said that I’m going to die in Day 3 if I make it through night 2 no matter what. That being the case, there’s a good argument for mafia to leave me alive tonight.
Either way, I’m dead by the end of Day 3, so all I’m saying is no townsperson should ever be absolutely certain about anything.

You think that’s crazy, but the idea that I’m mafia and drew a giant target on myself by refuting Jaz’s inspector claim doesn’t seem crazy to you? I know that Jaz wasn’t the inspector. I don’t see why he would have faked if he was a townie. If he did, he did a huge disservice to the townsfolk. I definitely think mafia would whack their own to try to make his inspector claim seem credible, especially if they thought it would lead to me getting killed in day 2. Doesn’t seem outrageous to me at all really.
