Agreed, I don't think we'd have gone for it if there wasn't a doctor role. Turns out there essentially wasn't a doctor role in this game, but still. It's a nice wrinkle.
But I'm glad I was able to pull it off through D5. I was shaking in my boots by then. Appreciation to my teammates for continuing to help me strategize as I embarked down the lonely road solo post-D2.

How? Just at the end? Throughout the game you were basically perfect. You had inspector correct and barely waivered. Then you pointed out on D5 that Rummy was the perfect candidate for distancing and not stirring the pot... which tbh is why I didn't want her around on D5 but whatever.
Honestly, I'm completely at peace with how the Town played out this game. In 124, I would sign up for a D4 with only one mafia left. It just goes to show that Mafia is pretty overpowered in this game in general. You can discard two members on Days 1 and 2 then just have a distancing third with a 66% chance to win on D5.

This was the one thing I was confused by. You were basically putting it out there that if someone agreed with who you thought was inspector you'd vote with them. Pretty straight forward to manipulate that. But again, you had everything right the whole game so you shouldn't be down on yourself. You can read many games of me embarrassing myself to degrees you couldn't imagine.

Jebus, y’all, with your opinions on my guesses. You act like you never changed your minds or doubted your suspicions after you voiced them. Sure, I was suspicious of Danbob, but then I got to thinking that he might not have acted soooooo outraged if he and Kanye were working together. It wasn’t that weird for me to not ask about him.
And while my Jortles guess wasn’t the best, he threw out a weirdly confident statement about thinking Kanye was mafia and it grabbed my attention.
Anyway, I really am sorry I wasn’t a better inspector!

And I knew NBF clearing you did help you lean towards believing her by D5 Definitely used that to my advantage and realized that it would behoove me to jump on the "Believe NBF" train because that was the best way to get you on my side.

I feel like we just lost the super bowl though so I want to reflect a bit more.
One thing NBF did perfectly was illustrate how LD needed to be the Doctor given Jaz's death. It was honestly a perfect defense and I don't understand how us Vanillas remained so skeptical. We put forward this scenario where Doctor made this monumental mistake.... ridiculous.
But even having said that. By D4, Rummy could have slid by regardless of which Inspector was telling the truth... I still think there was too much emphasis put on that when it was obvious that a third member would distance regardless.

Nah you were a fine inspector. There wasn't a whole lot you could do - you were discredited and destined to be voted out by D3 before you had even revealed.

Well I first would have thought myself into a depression.
Obviously, I said I was sussssss of Rummy and when Dan asked for clarification, I opted not to give any because I didn't wan tot let mafia know what I was thinking going into Day 5. I also thought if I kept it that way and was whacked it would mean Rummy was mafia since I was most sussssss of her.
However, If you kept me... I would have had two thoughts.
1. They kept me for a reason. Everyone had a town read on me, so it would come down to my vote. So obviously Rooloo left this scenario for me to vote rummy.
2. The only way I would have voted rummy would have been if I went with the classic "Rummy is either mafia or is the reason for towns loss due to being so uncontroversial all game." and voted for her there. Like I would have felt much better about tipping my cap to a Rooloo win than Rummy given how they both played.
End of the day I think I vote Rooloo there and mafia wins.
