I just want the chance to draft some acts that get me excited before we get to the boring part (voting).
you can still trade right?
Free agency window is wayyyy too short after the draft. Thats why no trades ever get done post draft. There should be a significantly longer period of time to put into getting everything organized or trying to trade after you've reviewed the full lineup and filled out your schedule.

I feel morally weird about having Walaka's work get separated into everyone's lineup but it is what's in the rules and I wouldn't mind having some of those acts

not quite related to our current issue, but just an idea to implement bonus rounds into future drafts, Roo or Infinity. What if before the game, we randomly picked one of the lineups from the previous draft that fell between 10-25 in the draft order (to avoid the princes and the bowies), and declare their entire (drafted) lineup as the bonus pool?
Why don’t folks (trantsgiving and Pepe Silvia, mainly) want the extra round? Is it because the posters are done? Or smt else? Just curious to hear about the reasoning.
A few reasons, though I'm def one of the ones who has more or less checked out at this point in the draft so it's not something I care enough to argue about, and I probably won't go into it outside of this post:
1. Walaka has worked hard on curating a lineup he likes, and has stated his pleasure with his lineup several times. There's no need to take that away from him, especially at a time where he's obviously going through some really rough shit.
2. Teddy has contributed to walaka's lineup too when walaka had to bow out previously, and I don't see why he shouldn't be able to do so again.
3. A supplemental round would introduce a significant luck factor at a very late stage in the draft, and it would suck to be on the shit end of the snake and watching other people pick up Kendrick Lamar and Ray Charles and shit for no reason other than because people want to benefit off of walaka's misfortune.
In general this is coming off as vultures arguing over the meat and bones that walaka is forced to leave behind, and it's really bad form imo. I think the most elegant solution is to just let Teddy take over walaka's lineup, and then everybody still has the same lineup they had yesterday - I don't see why anybody shouldn't be satisfied with that.
I forgot we’re consistently against making this more fun, my b.
You want more rounds as if we didn't already shorten the window to pick cause people were tired of waiting for others to pick and/or wanted to get the draft done quicker. Yeah, bring in those 5 extra rounds of fun!

it’s one round that actually has acts people would be excited about again.
