Breaking down the stages:
Here, There, and Everywhere are the 3 main stages with a variety of pop, rock, hip-hop, and everything in between. Norwegian Wood is a small mysterious stage meant for the most intimate and heartbreaking acts, including Nick Drake, The Microphones, Julien Baker, Weyes Blood, and more. Strawberry Fields is the jazz stage, with more modern acts to the legendary acts of the past. Across the Universe is meant for more experimental acts, and is also home to most, if not all of the electronic acts. Culture and Wisdom is home to some of the wisest and most cultured people in history. There will also be performances of a musical on each day. My personal highlight is the philosophical discussion between Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates, followed up by a performance by Monty Python.

Other little treats in the schedule:
On Sunday on the There stage, the run of Future Islands > Neutral Milk Hotel > The National was the Friday of Boston Calling 2014 fall edition. Sunset post rock at Norwegian Wood on Friday and Saturday, provided by Caspian and This Will Destroy You. My band, Band Land Brass Band is opening up the Here stage on Friday.
