yeah i can see why a straight up block schedule is less frustrating in the context of this game, but in real life i can say that staggered schedules like always feel like im actually experiencing more.
yeah, I do like the two on/two off when it's a smaller lineup of acts, or if they're all pretty similar in feel (I feel like Shakey sort of did that) but with 100+ acts, 6 stages, bunch of different genres, I feel like overlapping runs are just better to give something for everyone. If you don't like 3 of the acts scheduled at any hr there won't be something else to meander over to. I know mine probably isn't perfect in that regard but that's sort of what I was going for

Having Ween doing GodWeenSatan is a bit of a gift for superfans: it's definitely not their most accessible album (or even my favorite), but a ton of those songs are pretty rare live and that + The Pod are about as brown as one can get. Plus you just know lmlyp would be a trip
The hell do I know who it was, I'm not pointing fingers towards anyone in particular here just towards the people who were on the podcast in general. You're part of the podcast host team or whatever, you're a collective so since both were brought up on on the podcast on two occassions, I feel like mentioning it cause it felt weird that one day my line up wasn't all that 'new' and the next day it isn't 'infinity' enough. Anyone who is a host or were part of the pod are free to elaborate.. or not lol.
JTR commented on the second part and I understand his point about it.
Guests who come on are allowed to have their own opinions and I’m pretty sure it was teddy and we disagreed with him. Regardless, there’s different opinions on the pod. It wouldn’t be worth listening to if there weren’t.
I don't think it was me, I thought I generally dug his lineup for the gimmick of it. I think the only one I really shat on for not being new/fun enough was Dragon Energy, and I was totally hammered by that point of the pod.
I was wondering if that might have been what brought it up. I'm happy to hear it sparked an interest!
