Based on a cursory scan of a few setlists, they played around 4 TH songs and around 6 St. Vincent songs, so it doesn't conflict with Talking Heads being taken but does preclude other people from taking St. Vincent.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

This new rule has def fucked w my plans but overall I think it’ll be for the best. the massive amount of solo projects + Collabs were getting old anyway.

this is the first act being knocked out that feels like it is against the intention of the rule

Ik but it’s the rare exception, and they recognized that and took them this early which is smart. I’m just saying I’m glad there won’t be an excess of em.
This exclusivity rule really blows. No reason Tyler should be ineligible because OF plays 7 of his songs that he doesn’t really play anymore.
I’d think everything he released when OF was together doesn’t count against him here. When he tours now he doesn’t play that many OF era songs does he? I’d imagine he’s fair game
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Hm yeah this rule might be a one way street. Tyler might still be available since he isn’t performing OF songs. Not sure.
The way the rules are written currently, I think Tyler would be ineligible (doesn't mentioned anything about different eras of artists' careers)
I believe this and I believe St Vincent is eligible too. Tyler does not consistently perform 6 Odd Future songs live. Ditto St V / db & st v.
6 of the top 8 Odd Future songs ever played per Setlist FM are Tyler songs. I am good to change the rule but hes out as it stands now. I think changing the rule to like 9 songs would be a good move. It does what you want it to still but gives more leeway
