I'm with you, Potent--there are things from both sides/options that don't add up.
I think if this scenario occurred with anyone else in Kanye's position playing things out as he did, I'd almost entirely write off the idea that they were the real Inspector but like...it is Kanye, lol. And as weird as it certainly would've been for Kanye to "swoosh" it out the park there with "JTR/LD," at the time obviously all he had was his given (JTR, in this scenario where Kanye is Real Inspector), and I could see him opting to throw in a very obvious reference to his given then muddled by an extra name (that at the time he didn't know to be Mafia or not). If he then guessed LD N1 and realized "oh shit, my sorta-joke/sorta-breadcrumb was actually 2 out of 2," he might've gotten paranoid about trying to make it through another night, hence his reveal. Was it weird to do it during the nighttime? Certainly. But again...this is Kanye we're talking about.
I've got too many question marks around JTR to keep him alive, honestly. I think he'll end up being too much of a confusion point for us in D4+ if we don't stone him today.

So much about Cookin' Mama's story doesn't add up. The only problem is that Kanye's story doesn't add up either. He comes out in his first post and says "JTR and LD" are mafia, votes for Teddy, is famously paranoid, and then makes it through the entire second day, waits for night, then announces he was inspector and JTR and LD are the names he can confirm.
I guess I need to take this piece by piece - RothricRummy 500JazTeddy Flairtravisty what is your take on LD's post saying "Yes I'm mafia"? It felt a direct response to me, responding to (I think) Rummy. I said that LD's "good luck as inspector with zero names" felt like a mafia response, and he said he was mafia in response. That's how I took it, but I can't figure out if he was joking or not.
He says he was Mafia, the most believable Inspector said he was Mafia...I'm liable to think he was Mafia. Kanye revealed in a weird way but not weird enough for me to think he was Inspector. Both of them have pretty unique playing styles and say/do things I don't understand fairly often, regardless of role. I believe Kanye.

With Rothric switching off of JTR and onto LD in Day 2, which was then followed by JTR switching off of me and onto Rothric, I feel pretty confident that Rothric is town.
I know Potent would have no problem with putting a dagger in LD D1 if he thought it would help him distance, but it's hard to imagine him not sticking to that mentality and completely doubting JTR in D2. If he were Mafia with them I think it'd be more likely for him to just vote out JTR and not hear him out and move to Travis.
That pretty much just leaves Rummy and Travis. I'm getting townie vibes from Rummy this game BUT Travis did put the dagger in LD, which doesn't really tell me much since I don't know his playing style.
Hey guess what it's Day 4 and Jaz is pretty stumped, as usual. Right now I'm leaning more towards Travis going for distancing.

See, I actually think this totally could've been some Super Distancing going on D1. I think they're really valid points to bring up/consider, but I'm not sure I am willing to throw out the possibility that Roth and JTR were distancing hard D1.
And as for you points about Potent...maybe it is just because I personally have such a strong Town Read on him rn, but I see them as more indicative of Town-ness than the above mentioned re: Roth.
I'm leaning town on you, Jaz, but as you've readily admitted to, you've definitely been even more quiet than usual this game and while I do believe that's for actual life reasons, that excuse could've been manufactured. Still, thinking you are Town, but not as confident on it as I am that Potent is.
As for Travis, literally no idea how to read the guy. He was throwing out a lot of "LD is sus" posts and...don't think he really had much interaction with JTR one way or another. I don't mind seeing him in this run off at all. But to throw another in with him:

Are you more interested in actually finding Mafia or just voting for whoever votes for you? We've had two Inspector reveals, a Doctor reveal, two townie whacks, and the best you can do is "You voted for me so I'm throwing one back"? That's not helping your case here.
So the options are JTR is really Inspector, and he's trying desperately to help us, by not letting us stone him. Or the real inspector is dead, and he's mafia trying to hide. Or he's a townie trying to save his own skin. Which is really the most likely? I'm more on the side of believing him to be the actual inspector, really.
So who else is sus?

Now, out of nowhere he thinks that Kanye, for no apparent reason, whacked himself after losing mafia-mate LD on D2. You didn't need to change your vote this morning, you needed to do it last night. I am finding this really, really hard to believe. Your logic on Kanye doesn't make sense, you haven't sold it well, and you didn't act when you could.

All of the votes that New Guy cast were for LD/Kanye and JTR, before D4. It seems to make most sense that the decision was made to distance on LD, thinking it was possible someone would switch. Then Kanye unexpectedly revealed in the strangest way possible, outing JTR and LD, and then it was decided that New Guy needed to fend for himself.
I personally don’t know which one of y’all is still mafia. I’m running on the assumption that two are dead and we’re finding the last one. I don’t have any other suspicions right now, so my defense is natural. It makes sense that one of you, perhaps even Jaz or potent for coming at me so hard, is the final mafia.
If you vote me out tonight, you’re gonna find that it’s going to go to another round because you missed the target. It’s not gonna be game over. Chances are the mafia will leave me alive for their whack, too, because I’m garnering so much damn sus right now.

You are really flailing here, which is a mafia tactic. You're throwing things out and seeing where you can get another voter to agree. You may or may not be mafia, but your play yesterday and today isn't helping your case as a townie.

Also travisty I don't want to pour salt in this wound, but you said today that you believed JTR was inspector. JTR claimed that he guessed me and I was town. Voting for a guy the inspector that you believed cleared as a townie via a Night Guess is not a good strategy.
