The goal is to survive as long as possible during a hoard of zombies. You get to select 4 animals to help you survive.
The zombies are fairly easy to kill... or like knock down in a way that they are no longer a threat. They aren’t total bowling pins but one really quality swing of a baseball bat would probably get rid of one. Maybe two swings. There are thousands of them though and they are coming at different cadences. maybe some hours you only have to kill a couple but others you have to kill 500.
The catch is the exclusivities. Once “Lion” is taken, no other cat is available. Once Crocodile is taken, Alligator is off the board. Wolf cancels all dogs. Gorilla cancels all monkeys, etc. Human is not draftable. Draft poisonous animals at your own risk. The voters can decide if they think the poison would help in this situation (it prob wouldn't imo).
I really only need like 3 other people to join, but the draft would be more entertaining with 6-8 total because I want some weird shit like “sloth” to be drafted in the 4th round.
Expecting this to take about 2 days to complete.
Additional notes for consideration: Your animal will fight hard as fuck for you regardless of their typical behavior in real life. We are really only considering physical abilities here. We are not in water, though if Dolphin goes with the first overall pick I suppose you can ride it in a pond or something. You only get 1 of the animal you select.
Do we have a list of what the exclusive groups are or we determining it as they are picked?
I expect there to be some arguments. Mainly trying to avoid everyone having a big cat, different kind of primate, different breed of dog etc
1 cat 1 snake 1 dog / wolf 1 monkey 1 bird except I think ostrich should also be available
However I think deer / moose / ram / bull are all separate. Hippo / rhino / elephant all separately draftable. Tazmanian devil and anteater are separate.
Idk gonna just wing it. Will require a couple debates.

Oh one other thing to note: your animal knows the scenario and is going to fight for you to the best of their physical abilities. We aren’t taking into consideration that certain animals aren’t usually aggressive in the wild.

Also - you are assumed to get the most badass version of your animal. But not like a one off case of some sort of mutant version of an animal, but if you take a grizzly bear, we all know you are getting the dopest grizzly bear.

Actually if we get two more I may run two separate drafts of 5 or 6 each. Ive embarrassingly done this draft a couple times and know that about the number we’d want to be at with 4 rounds of picks. You end up having to draft “spider” at some point.
