It's a slip, you wouldn't have done it on purpose. But again, if you read what I said in response to Rummy, I'm fully willing to consider that you made a mistake, it might not be a huge deal. My issue isn't with you, it's with Rummy immediately excusing you when someone instead could have called you on it, gotten your response, and moved on.

Okay then please explain to me how it could be mafia me slipping that teddy is my teammate? It makes no sense to me and I can't move on until you can explain why you think that's a slip
I'm also suspicious of SFA. When I was mafia with him he stressed the importance of finding out who inspector was by looking at votes. There wasn't much switching and no super interesting votes in general. I think it makes sense for mafia SFA to not even attempt to try to find inspector since no one really attacked him and also he probably didnt really find anything to grab at.
Then probably Rummy, Maddog, Danbob in that order.
This is all pretty illogical
1. Literally all mafia look for how people vote to find inspector.... but also to narrow down suspects based on timing/known info an inspector would know. To clarify, this doesn't just mean who a suspected inspector voted for. So claiming the exact events of this game could point to me based on something that banal is a pretty bad argument.
2. I have the PM conversation from both our games together saved but I'm pretty sure I can't post screengrabs. But if I remember I've went into pretty fine detail about the actions and words of everyone. It's how we had it narrowed down to a couple of choices in the first game. The second game wasn't as active but we still had the actually inspector in our top suspects. Point being there was much more to us, and me specifically, looking for mafia in those games. To cherry pick one little detail of the paragraphs I wrote in those PMs and use it to tie me to completely unrelated and unknowable events is fairly wrongheaded.

We thought he had your name and he actually voted to help you at one point. What I don't agree with is this conspiracy theory logic of working backwards to fit some conclusion you're looking for. Especially when you're talking points apply pretty equally to everyone.
I've got some things going on in my life right now and I just haven't had the time/will to concentrate on this the last couple days. But looking over things I don't really have much suspicion as of yet. I do agree, as I've mentioned, that several players are acting very different. However, I haven't played in a good while so I'm not sure if that's an organic development or not. I've admittedly been pretty lowkey so far as well, so I don't have much room to talk.

It's a psychological thing, and I'm no expert in it, but people slip all the time saying one thing when they mean another, and the other is on their mind for some reason. In this context, it would be because you and Teddy and someone else are mafia together and talking in a private thread. Of course the slip wouldn't be, like, Theo and Potent, because they aren't close at all. But Teddy and Theo are just variations of the same name, and so it would be natural that one would say one when they meant the other.
And again - I'm trying to do this without hurling a personal insult at you, even though you called me "literally insane" which is actually pretty heinous - please be careful to read this statement: I am NOT saying you are mafia, and I am NOT saying you are mafia with Teddy. I don't have enough information to know right now. You making that mistake is noteworthy. It could just be a typo, that is a plausible explanation. What I am uncomfortable with in the confines of this game is Rummy explaining your mistake for you, instead of probing you about it. Why does she feel the need to protect you? Again, I am NOT implying you are mafia, and I am NOT implying you are mafia with Rummy, and I am NOT implying Rummy is mafia.
This whole game is about interrogating the other players and drawing conclusions for yourself, so I think it is notable when somebody neglects the interrogation and answers for them. It is why I asked you why you answered for Teddy earlier today.
On my reread I don’t know if my potent suspicions were 100% warranted, but I agree with some people who are saying SFA. I thought his reasoning for his carini was weak.

Nothing of note besides saying I agree several players seem to have a different style this game. Round 1 of this game seems pretty useless in my opinion. You might could argue that some people laid back and let Carini be in danger of voting off because it protected King T or Jortles. There could be something weird there but nothing that strong to grasp on to IMO.
I mean your voting for me because I actually gave one of the only actives things going on in the game a reason for my vote. I agree it wasn't much of a reason. I guess I couldn't have made something up. I don't know what else to tell you. Seems like day 1 was a wash to me unless we lucked up on King T. We didn't get much debate and very little of debate in the final rounds of 3. No round of 2.

Seems like a surprising amount of passion the last page or so in a game where vanilla townies currently have no information. Either way, I bet this scrum will prove to be helpful post reveal so I dont want to complain too much.

Which is why if between the three there isn't one, I will be truly shocked.
And if all 3 are town...then Mafia is having a fucking BALL GAME right now sitting back and watching this unfold.
I don't really understand why I'm included in this group? All I've really done today is respond to votes I got and I didn't do it in some destructive way that's going to harm the town or derail the game.
I'll point out that Kanye does those super huge posts that are stream of consciousness fairly often in games I've played. I don't know, the tone of them two arguing seems fairly normal for mafia, no?

I agree that we really don't have anything much to go on but, yeah, people arguing it out will help down the line. Better than another silent round. Still not sure I get what seems stagey about it although I understand what the implications of that would be.

Pretty much all the random thoughts I have conflict in one way or the other, but I have a weird gut feeling of some connection between Jortles and Potent. This post in particular kind of rubbed me the wrong way:
I'm beginning to think that the best thing for the doctor to do, if they are in the soup D1, is to die quietly, and leave it up to the town guessing whether doctor is still alive. I understand what Theo did and this is not a criticism of his move because it's a tough call to make at that time, but once again we have kneecapped the doctor role. The mafia has unwittingly, I think, this game found another way to exploit a role to their advantage when it's ultimately meant to level the playing field. Which is pretty frustrating to me.
Because as town having any morsel of "confirmed" info is so much better than guessing, which is most of what this game is as a normal townie.
Also Jortles voting Potent out of the gate early D2 feels like an easy distancing move when town is already pretty all over the place since we don't have much to work off of. I'm probably zeroing in on the wrong connection, but I bet there's a mafia on another mafia right now. Potent also jumped on Kanye a lot harder than I would have for mixing up me and Teddy too. Potent already has 2 votes on him so I'll go on Jortles. Anyone joining?

Potent has 3 votes on him, I was looking at the wrong post. Also I'm not too much of a fan of Kanye announcing that his post was a long train of garbage then continually backing it up while agreeing that there wasn't too much substance to it.

I'm still not convinced either way on potent, so I don't necessarily want him exiled outright, and Jortles is actually too damn good at this game and could be manipulating (which I'm also not convinced of).
