Its less “hes different” and more “hes playing as if he has a role.” And I think its more reliable than reading votes, which are the easiest for mafia to manipulate.
I also hate the worry about mafia manipulation. I long for the game where they tell us D1 who are mafia.
Ok but the whole game is about manipulating, and votes couldnt be any easier to use. And personality / or little details in tone, timing of a particular Post are extremely difficult to manipulate. I really think you have this wrong (votes v behaviour / personality judgement), and I always have. So Im going to try to rule out my own combos even though Im very pumped that you are trying to do that your own way. Maybe there will be crossover in what we find idk
You should consider this being her worst game ever. She tried to out a “fake reveal” by me earlier due to how tunnel visioned she is. So bad. Thankfully Im not inspector. Can you imagine of I was though? Ridiculous amounts of unfounded confidence.

I might have missed that, but on my reread I’m going to focus on those connections between people and Teddy/King T. I hope other people do too

Im saying personality and whatever else we use to make gut calls is something that Mafian CANT manipulate. Im trying to take the manipulation out of it. Mafia rarely makes moves to manipulate gut because its almost impossible. Yet manipulating votes is a part of every mafias gameplan.

Yeah, mafia definitely manipulates gut feels, not in that they manipulate your gut feel, but that they use it against you. But, I don't need to keep going down this philosophical road, we aren't going to agree on this.

I brought it up briefly but haven't really looked back yet.
The only thing that makes the King T vote a little hazy is that it was to save you. That certainly doesn't disqualify it and one would assume an inspector could see that as good cover to take out a given name.
Not sure about Teddy? All we can do is speculate. Could have had his name or he might have just seen a connection with his given. But it also could have been a chance to do something brazen in an attempt to throw the mafia off. As that kind of action is atypical of an inspector.
His response to Carina is interesting. He left the final vote to me. Could just be situational... or maybe it was info gathering. Either way. After Carina was on the choppng block he asked Dan sonething like "would you reconsider the situation." Dan just said, "I have."

It's certainly possible, it's just not usually the case.
I feel like we all discussed this at length in a game and there wasn't a lot of evidence of it. A couple games after that I was mafia and we wanted to try doing it in round one. It wasn't possible without drawing unneeded attention to ourselves.
So I agree, it's not impossible but it takes a lot of peices falling into place to even get the chance.

This makes no sense, and is demonstrably false as I've been on both sides of this coin before: as Mafia opting to manipulate someone else's tone/gut feels favorably, and as Town who has been manipulated in that same way by Maf

I think the data would say (if it were gathered), that mafia rarely vote together on D1 at any point. It's not impossible; it's just not likely.

Looking at all of Dan's posts vs Ted's, looking at how Teddy didn't really push himself forward when he was in pressure (and checking in), lead me to believe Dan was inspector. (Or at least that's what I want to believe and at this point just gonna let that feeling ride)
This isnt an angle it’s basically a side conversation im having with potent. That i plan to continue having after the game and for potentially years to come until our town stops sucking. Honestly ive been talking to everyone about personality reads > votes for a long time.

My goal is always to use the vote record to try to rule stuff out, and then hope that others fill in for/with me where I am missing possible connections/manipulations.
I just don't like when someone like Teddy comes out on D2 and says he feels I'm playing differently so I'm suspicious. I'm probably not going to go through the last 5 games but it feels like people have been saying that about me D2 every game recently.
