Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Seems to me that if y’all could figure out the logistics of an auction draft then you might squash a lot of bickering about value, placement, realism, etc.
I like how this random person comes up in here observes like however many pages of a single draft and assumes he knows how to fix the game...
Who are you Zappo? If that's even your real name.
Are we sure this isn't Krisp? 😂 It wouldn't be the first time.

Rufus are already back on the downslide imo. They would have been top billing lots of places this year but will be cooling by the time we’re doing shows again.
For comparison, ODESZA has 5.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. RUFUS has 3.5 million. ODESZA may be on the downturn as well, but we'll see how the next years go.
I think Rufus in Miami might be a better move than Rufus at Bonnaroo for a top 6 position. When you guys had xx at 3, Roo had them at 8. When you had M83 at 2, Roo had them at 9.
When Okee had Glass Animals at 2 on their day this year. Roo had them at 6 on their day. That difference is massive.
Rufus was 6 on their day at coach last year. Post blow up. Odesza was 2nd on their day at Coach in 2018.

Anecdotally, I've met many a frat bro / business world cog that absolutely stan Odesza. I've only met one human that claimed to be a Rufus fan. And that person prefaced it with "you probably don't know them but..."

A friend once described ODESZA perfectly: electronic music for people who don't like electronic music. Not saying they're bad, but their music is very appealing and playlist-friendly.
Both RÜFÜS and ODESZA are more of a live act than a studio band anyways. I feel like the bump for them is okay, edm isn't the focal point of American pop culture as it was five years ago so, makes sense for there to be 1-3 electronic acts to be in your top 15.

Alright I’m honestly confused. Is the point here that Odesza and Rufus aren’t completely interchangeable, or that they’re so obviously interchangeable that my joke was dumb?

I just described why ODESZA is appealing to a lot of people, although RUFUS could fit in my original post. RUFUS has an edge for mainstream appeal since they have a regular vocalist, while half the time ODESZA splices and pitches up vocals.

Alright that’s fair. It just seemed like you were making the opposite point in the context of Jortles post
saw it at Osheaga, it was definitely less dancey, more just kinda artsy / interesting. most people probably won't prefer that, but after having seen him like 4 times i definitely did.
