so are we going to be auctioning until every participant has won 30 bids?
My guess is this will move a lot faster than you think
yeah i really have no clue what this is gonna look like, which im honestly looking forward to after thinking i knew what last game was gonna look like.
You're drafting 30 acts. There will be a form of free agency.
What if we run out of budget?
You can't run out of budget. The rules only allow you to reduce your budget to one-dollar bids. You have to spend 300 dollars on 30 acts. After that, there is free agency.

can we do relatively limited total acts? No need for this format to be a full ass 5 stage fest
You'll draft 30, then we'll do free agency, probably with a free agency auction budget and some form of nomination pool. But that's up to the participants. I want input on that.
You can structure your fest however you want. There are no strings attached. You can keep it to two stages if you want. You can hold it wherever you want.
I really hope someone joins and throws a venue in the nomination pool. Jeez.
Reminder that this starts tomorrow. tЯist♡n will be nominating around 3 PM Eastern and you'll have a day to decide what you're willing to throw down for whatever artist he picks. Looking forward to seeing what he chooses. I'll change the thread title so that the artist(s) on the block is/are featured each day.
Also, for anyone who hasn't signed up yet, you can still sign up until the end of the first round of nominations.

It will be interesting to see the differences in strategy between players. Also interested to see if prices mirror draft position in the snake drafts or if certain acts end up being relative steals.

Probably would make things more complicated but kinda wish our budget was reflected in USD. Would be interesting to see how things compare to real life.

Yeah it's sorta hard to compare because an artist could go for ten and an artist could go for 100 in this but the artist going for 100 would probably cost more than 10x what the artist going for ten would IRL. But yeah it will be interesting to see what acts Inforoo will overpay for relative to their real-life market value.
