If anyone voting for Fred and Jazs want to explain why a repeat headliner from 2019, a headliner level sub, repeat subs, bad, bad edm that isn't drawing crowds, with prima acts slapped in is that much more realistic than ours id like to hear it.
Bummer neither of them have even tried to respond to other people's questions about Gambino, Xx (being active at all), Slowdive/JMAC/Roisin. At least I'm putting in work and providing examples of why ours is realistic.
The simple answer is that your lineup feels like a Coachella lineup to me. You guys hate that argument and fight it every time (which is part of the reason I had trouble even summoning the energy to explain my vote) but that’s the answer. Kraftwerk, Patti Smith, Thom Yorke all in your second lines is tough for me to get comfortable with. Fred’s isn’t perfect but it works better imo.

By the way it was pretty much Rage that made it look the way it did, I think the original plan was to have the 1975 be the third headliner but they added Rage and dropped a few subs pretty late on.

because there is a 0% chance of Bonnaroo booking 3 old white guy band HLers + 2 near HL level subs in 2021. and i find it absolutely hilarious that you're trying to shit on their edm selection for "not drawing crowds" when you just didn't try in that aspect of the game at all. i hate to break it to you but Louis the Child is drawing a bigger crowd than Kraftwerk at bonnaroo 2021.
2019 is the only year they didn't book two old white rock bands and a hip hop act. And to make up for it they gave the old rock band two sets. Just because they booked Lizzo and two white rock bands in 2020 doesn't mean in 2021 they're going to book 3 pop headliners and Arcade fire. They demoted Major Lazer, they didn't bump the xx from their last timeslot. They have undercard things that wouldn't play roo. They have acts that have never played tennessee.
Us having Florence and Tyler in the same spots at the Xx and Harry styles and them having Major Lazer and Louis the child and kaskade shouldn't be the end all.
