I think the first day of this draft was like 45 pages. Can we agree not to do that again?
To be fair, this is the most chaotic thing I've seen on the board, and it seems like that is truth for a bunch of people. I think half of that was, we haven't really decided the rules in as objective a manner as possible (not my issue with the draft); other half was all about were some of the contributors going to troll. And they ended up being active participants.
Slightly annoyed that we were viewed as trolls even through voting. It's especially annoying to have never requested votes from anyone, but then to lose to a flurry of random votes that seemed to be a reaction to "old posters" coming back. It will be easy to vote for the rest of the draft though.

The fairest judge (which is the title I want still.. ) still wants people to fight this out by what they determine is the best characterization of roo. I'm a sucker like that. I even voted twice for people I don't like that much.

Your lineup is more realistic than the four teams remaining so it will be an easy choice.

Someone should stil do the Bonnaroo sets draft. I can't do it because there's no way I can keep up with all of that. I did start compiling the list and could complete that.
That would be pretty wild. Only problem is that there were some truly incredible sets of music from Bonnaroo's early days that would fall completely flat on this board. People would be voting for like some nondescript Matt & Kim set over something wild from like 2003 or whatever.
I also still like the idea of doing a historical era draft where you can draft any act from whenever, only you have to specify the year/era of the act you're taking. So if you take the Grateful Dead, you have to be like "this is the May 1977 Grateful Dead" or like "this is Prince on his Purple Rain tour" or whatever.

I don't keep up with people's beefs around here, so I can't tell you if anyone voted against you out of spite. But I'm sure you can see how from our perspective, we don't really feel like we got lucky. Without even mentioning what went down yesterday, tying with a team that has an extra vote is frustrating.

edit: and to be fair you have people in your circle voting for/against you. same applies to the Bulls. I can assure you that no one on my team is out campaigning or seeking additional voters

Campaigning and attempting to garner the participation of non-voters is part and parcel with a healthy democracy.
I also find it fucking hilarious that we're having this conversation about a fake game on an internet forum
After seeing all the other old members coming back I invited 2 myself. They never voted. One was in the process but is at the beach and that's understandable, the other one never answered.
