Realistically, here is who I think will replace RATM (descending based on likelihood): Metallica Stevie Nicks Harry Styles Kendrick Lamar Pearl Jam Post Malone The Who Ye The Weeknd Nine Inch Nails

all of these feel very unrealistic
I don’t think so. Based on how much salary RATM probably commanded, you could probably book one of these bands. Also, almost of these artists are performing in some capacity in the spring/summer.

Are you saying likely at the top and going down is less likely?

On DMB's message boards (antsmarching.org) we heard that DMB was supposed to announce their tour dates this past Tuesday (allegedly) but that they pushed off. Supposedly, it's pushed off all the way until early February, so I doubt it has anything to do with Boston Calling, but just throwing it out there.

In that case I’d be happy with pretty much all of them except for Post. That guy can go quack himself.

In my opinion, Post is the only one I feel like they could lock down on short notice though

I hope to God Post’s not on the lineup. That guy’s the worst. He’s terrible.

i bet this is because DMB is playing that new festival in Connecticut which will be announcing soon
I actually have less than a zero percent chance of considering attending this fest, but for pure comedy's sake if they could go from RATM to Dave Matthews and Kings of Leon - that would be amazing. The spin especially.
"We couldn't Rage Against The Machine but we hope you are willing to Rage with the worst parts of the Bonnaroo 2010 lineup!"
