Map is up, Orange stage on the back path between the Blue/green (IKEA location?), no utilization of the Arena by the looks of it an the Ferris wheel is at the blue stage now
As of right now, the website still shows the 2019 map:
Yep, and I'm not seeing it on the app, either. When I click on maps, I just get a pale tan blank screen with the word "Google" in the lower left-hand corner.

Ugh if they gave all the stages the red stage treatment this could be my last Boston Calling. It is so incredibly annoying when they just give half of the pit to VIP. At least make it GA for the early acts.

every single year i get closer to making it my last but always end up going. i’m not doing early bird again though, especially with the prices plummeting so much on secondary. green being 1/3 vip will be a disaster though. theyre asking for bottlenecks and crowd crush here

I already avoid the red stage like its the plague after the second act because the back and forth between stages is terrible. The blue stage setup might be my favorite stage setup of the fests I've been to and Red is hands down the worst.

*It appears that the ferris wheel is sort of behind the bleachers or otherwise not particularly close to a stage.
*The hoped-for Blue >< Orange proximity isn't happening, and with no set breaks between Blue and Orange, you can't make a smooth transition from one to the other without missing a note.
*Seriously, if they were closing the Arena, they needed to add more porta-potties.
*If I had known how much they were going to be expanding the VIP sections, and how much I was going to like the lineup, I would have just bought VIP. But considering that I rolled over a wristband purchased in late 2019, who knew *anything* back then?

I wouldn't count on this years secondary as the expectation going forward, but yeah, early bird should really be "Im 90% likely to go regardless of the line up" sort of buy. Secondary doesn't really matter if you dont sell!
weird because The Sinclair tweeted they had a trio of shows to announce but it's just two
I would totally go to Earthgang, have to see how I'm feeling. This is probably ignorant, but how the heck is Ripe? I know they're local I feel like I see them on jam band adjacent festival posters like Guster, but I have no idea who the fuck they are.

i started listening to Ripe when the lineup came out and actually really like their new(ish?) single, Settling, a lot. not enough to get me and my friends to Sinclair friday night, though.

A few years old but this gives you a bit of an idea of what their live show is like, just a fun funky group with some horns -
Probably too soon to talk Boston Calling 2023, but it's worth noting that Shaky Knees e-mailed a 10th Anniversary teaser video to everyone on their list, and I'm pretty sure that the music in the video is RATM. If Rage is doing festivals next year, it seems likely that Boston Calling will book them, unless they don't fit in with whatever genres they want to spotlight in the top line next year. (The really weird thing is that we could end up with Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine, and Red Hot Chili Peppers as next year's top line...and a totally "How can I miss you if you never go away?" subheadlining set from RTJ.)

I would bet on Rage and Foos (if they're back) being there. I think the third name will be something more pop or hip hop like Miley or Kendrick, or Florence (who frankly is pop).

I mean I’m up to see if Rage can happen, possible month long hiatus at the end of their tour though assuming they do Coachella, unless they sneak Shaky in there.
It will be interesting to see if Kendrick announces a tour with the new album tomorrow.
