Julie is there a price tag number where we should start to become skeptical of an act's willingness to play anything but the Mind Melt? Like I would assume anything 500,000+ obviously. Probably also anything $250,000+. Could you identify a soft line? Obviously there will likely be exceptions.
Just think of Main Frame as Mojave/Gobi in terms of size for acts. If an act wouldn’t play there then probably wouldn’t fit.

I just don’t want people taking Gorillaz or something in Phase 1 and then requesting a stage change later in the game. I would veto those picks any way but just want to save us some time.

I think this move was pretty key. If Rummy passes on Aphex Twin because she assumes that the Twins can't play Mainframe only to find out it was ok later... that would be annoying. I actually think that lack of clarity is annoying af in drafts, and its going to be nice that "realism" will be bolted into everyone's lineups in this draft so we can freely vote based on which lineups we like the best.
A couple of questions from someone that hasn't done one of these before. Is there a process for drafting acts that aren't on the lists? These would pretty much only be DJs that are comparable to those already on the list. Is there a minimum that I have to spend? For the B2B can it include someone from a previously drafted live act that also DJs?

Only acts from the lists are eligible to be drafted. The B2B needs to be artists that already on your lineup and that are DJs. So if you have LCD, you can use James Murphy or if you have Caribou, you can use Daphni. The B2B is essentially a superjam like in previous drafts.
