I'm wondering if Bieniemy wants out of KC so that he can prove that his success isn't reliant on Reid & Mahomes and might take a lateral move.
Sports talk radio was talking about that today. Something weird is going on with him not getting a head coach job yet. I think he definitely deserves to get a chance .
I did some internet research [tm] and his contract is expiring. So he's got options. If we can snag him, and he can produce, you'd have to think he's a shoo-in as a head coach before 2025.

From having been on the Andy Reid train since he was head coach in Philly I think the shine finally wore off on his assistants automatically getting jobs. What if he was potentially promised the job in KC and now Reid just wants to stay on longer. I mean it looked like Josh McDaniels mightve just taken over for Belichick eventually but he went to Vegas cause it seems like Bill wont retire til he gets a ring with Mac. It is a sound theory go to elsewhere and show youre not thriving just because of personnel.
I mean, it was Vegas police after all. They probably didn't want to mess up the spread or the prop bets
I don't mind the police waiting to arrest him, he's not a flight risk or anything. I definitely wonder what the fuck the NFL was thinking allowing him to play though
I'm excited to have him back. He was a great offensive line coach for us when we built one of the top tier lines in football (Carl Nicks, Jahri Evans, Jonathan Stincomb, Jammal Brown and Jonathan Goodwin). We're also bringing back Coach Johnny Morton who was our WR coach for a couple of years in the mid 20-teens. It's unclear if either of these guys would be tapped to be our new Offensive Coordinator since Carmichael is vacating that job and taking some more reserved position with the staff.
Found this tool earlier this season and it really goes in depth for every player. Really interesting to see some of these stats- here's Ekeler's page btw. He's always been a great athlete and it's so surprising to see he went undrafted. www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/austin-ekeler/
Now they're gonna let me write for them so make sure you use the site!
I actually kind of feel like it's an underwhelming class.
There’s no one on the list who doesn’t deserve it.
I think there are 5 borderline cases that made it, at least, including Vermeil and the official. Which seems high to me. I'm not saying none of them deserve it. I do think there were more worthy people that were left out. But I guess this gets to what your definition of a worthy Hall of Famer is.
Vermeil had a career 120-109 record for goodness sakes! I went into this thinking, in fairness, Cowher probably was only a little better and has the same number of Super Bowl wins. Cowher was 161-99-1 in his career. And to me was a borderline HOF candidate.
