Yeah with role reveals I feel like maf has to play a lot different than the style that’s played here traditionally. Controlling the narrative and keeping things confusing seem to be key.

I also think that Town has more of an advantage with role reveals right now in the first few games playing with them than it would in the long term after we've played more with that element. for example, in this game I felt pretty damn confident that if I had been Mafia with one name given (Tranter) and two of us alive still on D3, one of us would vote for the other. I then used this metric to narrow down to MD or KPO as the third, and from there, went with gut.
But now that a game has played out that way, Mafia could certainly remember this game and do the opposite--or figure we assume they'll do the opposite, so actually repeat the tactic again...

I was being honest about taking past roles into account, that means nothing to me.
I was not being honest about not enjoying Mafia anymore, though I do wonder our role reveals to things towards town too much.
I think we should try it a few more times to get a better sample size. If town keeps roasting we might need to change up. Would be fun if we got no role reveals up until Day 5 when the ref unleashed all of the whack / exile roles.
That way you'd give the final competitors a new lens with which to reread and try to piece the puzzle together... might add even more excitement to Day 5 but Mafia would have a very good shot of cleaning things up before then like they always did the last couple years.

Yeah also maybe Mafia will finally have to figure out how to get better. Whereas we've always been so disappointed in Town performance. Lets see mafia have to make a new moves / strats.

What if we tried role reveals lagging a day? So at the beginning of D3, you would get the role reveal from the D1 exile. Or maybe even better, every townie could vote during N2 which role they want revealed D3 - D1 exile or D2 exile. Majority rules. Figure something out in case of a tie.

I just thought of something. I want to apologize to Dad Dog because he’s without power right now and that was communicated to me last night. I didn’t think much of it then but I probably should’ve delayed the game somehow until he get back online since him losing power was out of his control and not just him being inactive. We’ll leave a spot open for him in case he wants to play the next game.

ah shit! I thought maybe he was just doing the "staying silent and letting things fall where they fall" mafia move towards the end there.
