Well personally, I do think there’s a case town faking inspector could be good in certain situations (though I know I’m def in the minority there). But above I’m defining chaotic as town running more with gut reads day 1 even though there’s not a “concrete” reason to be running with said read.
Town can't effectively fake inspector. It takes an insane amount of luck
Absolutely agree, but I’m a degen and don’t necessarily mind doing something suboptimal if there’s a potential payoff lol. That being said I’ve never tried it since I’m sure people wouldn’t be happy, and faking doctor almost backfired badly.

I should ref one of these with trantsgiving and record a play by play podcast about it with analysis that gets released after the game. Complete with performance grades and awards.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

So continuing the inspector discussion from last night. Should "chaotic townie" include a bunch of vote switches? And should multiple townies employ this strategy? Obviously mafia will jump in, but it will create more data for us to look at (and for Jortles to ignore).

Yeah that could be a part of it. Not saying to just flood the thread with nonsense, but I do like the idea of just town creating some action, and forcing mafia to make some moves. I think that it potentially can make things easier for town, with the added bonus of making the game fun for everyone.
I just feel like more often than not mafia falls out because of people randomly changing, not necessarily because mafia is being forced to make moves to cover their ass.
seriously the "I don't like this runoff" when the runoff is actually not good for mafia feels so good.
