keeping my fingers crossed i can get a single w2 ticket for my fifth group member who just added...surely w2 won't be as bad?! maybe!?!? it also feels insane to be looking at airbnbs already but here we are.
The Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage now has refundable rooms for $135/night for the April 15 weekend. It's a nine-minute walk (two minute Uber) from the Omni Rancho shuttle stop. Including breakfast, my reservation was $445 total for three nights. Booked through Hilton.com.
Booked this when you posted this last month but just wanted to say thank you! Rolled over my W2 ticket and have this set-up. Praying they keep Frank but regardless I am excited for an amazing fest!

I mean, if anything, the lineup should be better, right? Didn't they eat the loss on MCR?
Not sure what you mean. I doubt eating the MCR money affected the quality on the rest of the poster
I mean the money for however much MCR cost could've been used to get some more subs. I don't really know how Coachella works. I think if they sold out, they don't really care but something to think about. Though some acts like Meg are bound to cost a lot more in 22 than 20.

Depends if they keep Meg or not. And how much more is she going to cost unless youre expecting a jump in billing? She is 4th on the second line already. And is Megan ( if the poster held up ) more expensive than a Calvin Harris?

Well presumably someone like Megan they’d be keeping because she was already under contract, so they’d be getting a bit of a deal with the 2020 booking fee. And if they can’t keep her at that fee, they’ll just replace her with 2022’s Megan

They're eating the loss on MCR either way, though. It's just being eaten on the 2022 lineup now.
I'll also never get over GV paying a full headliner fee to one of the most in demand acts of the year only for them not to play, immediately before a pandemic resulting in - presumably - major losses.

I don’t think the Rolling Loud lineup rules anyone out. The December 2019 lineup had Lil Uzi Vert, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat, all of which showed up a month later on the Coachella lineup.

IIRC, they had to renegotiate a lot of the 2020 contracts and I assume Meg was one of them.

Only reason why I said Gibbs solo is because Alfredo kinda overshadows Bandana now, and I think Freddie is releasing his first major label album this year. The singles/loonies with Big Sean and Schoolboy are great

He’s widely known as having rough live sets and the money it would take to get him to basically play with vocal recordings would be a wild waste of money. But whatever floats your boat.
