I think a set of Madlib just running through Madvillainy while playing some DOOM visuals on the screen would be well appreciated
He’s widely known as having rough live sets and the money it would take to get him to basically play with vocal recordings would be a wild waste of money. But whatever floats your boat.
Its moreso about just doing something in honor of MF DOOM. Not so much about Madlib himself. I dont think a tribute would be a waste of money, DOOM fans would appreciate the gesture and be happy with it im sure.

I’m about as big of a fan that there is but spending money to hear a set of recorded music of a dead guy seems like a waste and is tacky as hell. Maybe in the Heineken tent at 1 pm.
Has anyone rented bikes for this to get to and from the venue? The AirBnb I booked for the likely W1 ended up being quite a bit farther away then I previously thought (2.5 miles).

I never rented bikes, but I brought bikes to the fest in 2017 with my group because we were staying around the tennis center. I thought it was a great idea at the time (the nice part is being able to essentially ride up to the gate, rather than park super far and walk), but if you don't have a lot of stamina left at the end of the day, that bike ride can be brutal. You'll also have to be really sure about the route you take because it gets pretty dark!
some verified is getting traction for this. he's very easy to needle if you call him out on his credits but he is dodging any comments on where the alleged info came from.
throws a bit of a wrench in my plans because i have a weekend 2 ticket and weekend 1 lodging so i'll need to swap. Anyone have any experience swapping? and how would yall reccommend doing so? To specify i got my pss thru lyte

So, if I sold my 2020 passes on Stubhub, and they're sending out new 2022 wristbands for those that held onto their 2020 passes, I'm assuming they'll have to send the new wristbands to me, then I'll have to send those to the buyers of my 2020 passes?

Hey all! Long-time member, random poster. The news today has me all kinds of excited - cheers on our favorite fest coming back! Quick logistical question - we booked at Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage (thanks for the tip boards) but not seeing that it's particularly close to any of the shuttle stops, IE not walking distance. For anyone that has stayed there before, did you just Uber it to nearby hotels?

Cheers.
Omni Rancho Las Palmas shuttle stop is less than 10 min walk away.
Can’t believe getting a ticket on a payment plan for one weekend costs as much as I just spent on 2 weekends at primavera. Rethinking bothchella lol
One festival has and uses a lot more sponsorship than the other. And one puts a lot of their budget into production values and art. Figure out which is which
