I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Wasn't expecting a full hot girl summer anthem after her other albums. I need to hear the next single before I judge it too harshly because I typically never like the first single from these Jack-produced pop albums
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025
The Lorde single is boring, too bad because she's great. Hopefully the album is more weird and less boring. She'd be a welcome addition regardless, even if I'm not a massive fan.

I thought the new song was kinda fun, without totally sounding like a different artist? I’m more intrigued for the new album after that than I had been, at least. Don’t want her at Coachella 2022 tho
Has Danger Mouse done anything worthwhile in the past decade?
"Rome" just passed its 10-year anniversary, so you're spared a massive rant from me regarding that wonderful album. The Karen O project definitely had its moments.

Do you actually know without looking what Adele track he did? (Hint, it’s one of the worst ones)
Danger Mouse is cool and I’m sure he’s produced some great songs but I feel like the last “big” thing he executive produced was Brothers which isn’t trendy in any way rn. Kinda seems like a cool late night Mojave set that even people who have passing interest in skip for Travis Scott

The true dear god no will be after this Ed Sheeran song comes out in 2 weeks and gets thrown into the running of every festival next year. Lorde will be the least of anyones worries.

It will never not blow my mind that Ed Sheeran can sell out Football stadiums on the regular
