Produced Norah Jone's Little Broken Hearts album in 2012, produced Electric Guest's first album, produced Portugal The Man's Evil Friend's album, The Black Keys' El Camino and Turn Blue albums Had produced track's on Adele's 25, A$AP Rocky's ALLA and also produced Sundress, Chase Me with Run The Jewels, Off the top of my head
Do you actually know without looking what Adele track he did? (Hint, it’s one of the worst ones)
Yes River Lea and it's not one of my favorite Adele tracks (really 25 overall is my least favorite Adele album in general) but I don't think it's bad either
Danger Mouse is cool and I’m sure he’s produced some great songs but I feel like the last “big” thing he executive produced was Brothers which isn’t trendy in any way rn. Kinda seems like a cool late night Mojave set that even people who have passing interest in skip for Travis Scott
I think most executively produced Danger Mouse albums are quality but I don't expect him to be at Coachella, was moreso saying I think he'd make an interesting sound collabing with Lorde
We’re already talking about Coachella for next year, knock wood, but if it will be the same show or not, I don’t know yet. If there really is a Coachella, I’ll start thinking about it probably come September.
I’m on the same boat of everything Danger Mouse touches is gold. Both Broken Bells albums are amazing all the way through. Demon Days alone is all I really have to say. But then there’s Attack & Release, Brothers and El Camino, hell even Turn Blue was good, Modern Guilt, Evil Friends and Mondo are amazing albums I all own because they are perfect all the way through. I really liked The Getaway although I’m sure someone’s gonna say something. Both Micheal Kiwanuka albums, TGTB&TQ, Norah Jones, Sparklehorse, Karen O project, that Rome album is perfection too. Wide Awake is Parquet Courts best, sorry not sorry. Woodstock is great album too but I’ll probably get shit for that too. At.Long.Last.A$AP is what got him big, and Phoenix is still his best song, def not sorry about that. Chase me is a def banger. Gnarles Barkley is a classic, how could anyone hate. And how came you talk about him and not bring up DANGERDOOM, the mouse and the mask is a work of art. His sound is so good and he knows how to make songs hit different. Maybe I’m just a Danger Mouse “Stan”, well for everything but Songs of Innocence, ya got me on that one.

Songs of Innocence is my favorite U2 album of the 2000's FWIW. I know, not the highest of bars, but it was the stupid album rollout that clouded the public discourse of that thing, not the music itself. Danger Mouse is hit-or-miss for me in general - loved the first Broken Bells album, thought the second one was just alright - but I honestly miss seeing his name plastered all over alt rock radio. I'd love for him to propel another festival darling like Portugal to the mainstream consciousness.

Unpopular opinion but Mouse and The Mask is by far the least interesting MF Doom album. Its decent but every other album from Vaudeville Villain to Take Me To Your Leader are better. Even though the latter has only a few Doom verses on it, it’s a phenomenal listen. Mouse and the mask was an admitted money grab that just so happened to have a few good tracks on it.

I like Mouse and the Mask but it is definitely on the back end up DOOM projects to me. But preceeding DOOM projects set such a high bar that it's not necessarily an insult to DangerDOOM. It's better than like Keys on the Cuffs, NeruvianDOOM, and Metal and the Mask imo, and VV2 maybe. But everything from Operation DOOMsday to Mm.. Food is just so amazing, also Born This Way.

Keys to The Cuffs can be a challenging listen, but songs like GMO, Guv’nor and especially Winter Blues are gold. NehruvianDOOM isn’t really an MF DOOM album as much as it is Nehru going over special herbs and spices beats and one vocal feature. I don’t consider MA DOOM or the MF Grimm series that was under his watch to be in his direct catalogue either, but you could argue it I suppose. VV2 is a wildly underrated album. Born Like This is also an amazing album. Not saying Mouse and the Mask is a bad album, it’s just not nearly as ambitious or ear grabbing as any of his other work. That includes the CZARFACE collaborations. Wish we would have gotten a full Swift & Changeable album before he passed.
Does Day n Vegas do day passes because wtf that Friday line up is deep Edit: yes they do I wanna go Friday and Sunday.. Saturday almost doesn't appeal to me at all, but a 3 day pass is equal to 2 single day passes If I can get tier 1 or 2 I'll do 3 day but if not then single day..

While I doubt Haim would sub again so soon (despite being a much stronger sub after this latest album, the rare rebound from a sophomore slump), they announced a Santa Barbara show in September while stating it's their only California show of 2021. I feel it's more likely they play that Forum show they were reportedly supposed to play in 2020, but I guess put them in the maybe pile?
