HITS Daily Double coming in with some bombs. Rage Against the Machine and Travis Scott expected to return, Frank Ocean out.

She has three shows at the Forum right before Coachella. They’re sold out and she doesn’t have any conflicts, but can’t imagine she’d be their first choice right now.
There's a lot of borderline HL acts who could drop an album between now and Coachella to give them that surefire boost. So if Frank is really out, there's so many possibilities for a replacement.
Since there's a rock and rap HL already, gonna assume it's pop. That could be a massive name like Rihanna, Adele, Taylor Swift. Or if Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, etc. Drop another album that'd also be a massive get. Could be Lana with another album but I think that'd be a meh Sunday closer.. maybe if they move her to Friday and put Rage on Sunday. (Which would help conflicts tbh)

Billie is obviously massive but since she's been announced for other festivals already, and has 3 Forum shows. That seems to lack.. hype? Her crowd would be enormous no matter what, but still. Especially since she was there last Coachella.

What circumstances though? They have 5 months to find someone else without three arena shows in LA the week before the fest. Why wouldn’t they just try to do that? They must have had other potential headliners in advance negotiations for 21 and 22 when the pandemic hit.
So who we got left? I’m guessing it’ll be someone bigger than Frank and maybe a pop artist like Adele, BTS, Rihanna or Taylor Swift.
For active artists, Taylor Swift would make the most sense out of that list. I doubt it's Rihanna or Adele unless they announce tour news/new music. BTS still hasn't officially rescheduled their stadium tour. It's gonna be Billie.

Billie will already be touring, in the area, has the hype from a new album and her previous album, and is on the Firefly lineup. She'd also round out the headliner pool genre with pop.
