$50 for my two picks versus literally anyone else? I’m down if you submit two choices.
You’re the one who is completely confident it’s one of those two. How about this, if you’re right, I’ll give you $50, if you’re wrong I’ll pay you $25.

If I had to pick someone it’d be Kendrick.
So I get money regardless? Sure! :)
Oh hush, you know what I meant. You gonna take the bet or not?
it's more that i don't picture the top line going rap-metal/rap/rap, honestly
Whitney Houston?
And yeah, I think it would not look that impressive to have 2 rappers along with Rage. As my gf told me the minute I sent her that story she said '' they better book a fucking female''.

Booking a female headliner here would be best practice. Since they went all male originally it could be the same case.
Rap and pop is basically the same thing at this point and RATM is the token legacy headliner. There was also no women HL originally so they clearly don’t care about that.
Tyler is the pick that makes the most sense. Just seems like since he’s already all over they might stay away.
That said, Travis and Tyler/Kendrick doing Day N Vegas might be more telling. Don’t know if they’d repeat that combo, unless maybe Kendrick actually premiers a new show since that one is billed as ‘Section 80 to Damn’. Tyler would definitely be doing the same thing.
Not sure if a Rihanna song or a Rocky song but both spotted filming a music vid. Got me thinking Rihanna might be the most logical guess at this point. There's no real reason to think anybody at this point, at least this shows at least a minimal bit of activity.

I agree booking a female would be great. Isn't the original set of headliners the first time it's been 3 black headliners though. BLM has been a lot more in the media since the 2020 lineup release.

Don’t think it’ll happen, but I do believe Buckingham made up with the group after his surgery. The biggest issue would be can he still sing. I know he sounded like shit on that livestream they had pulled from the internet. The songs he sings lead on are my favorite of theirs though and have no interest in seeing them without him. I may be the only one, but they’d get me there in a heartbeat. And fucking book Misfits already please.

Yeah I really don’t see Coachella just going with almost the same headliners as Day N Vegas, that’s just kinda lazy.
Frank may have dropped out a while ago too and we’re just now hearing about it so they have time to find a replacement. At this point, my gut feeling is it’ll be either Taylor Swift, Rihanna or My Chemical Romance.

Yeah Kendrick is possible just based on how he’s billed there and would be billed at Coachella. Tyler is not happening 2022 unless at least 9 people say no.

You mean all POC headliners. And yet apparently racism and oppression on african americans has only existed since 2020 according to you cause of what the media has chosen to cover.

Kendrick debuting new material is my first choice honestly. Would Love to see him again
I wouldn’t mind that, but in 2017 we just saw him do that and Travis was also a big name who is now a headliner
Feels weird to think that will be half a decade ago
Good point, i was just thinking in terms of my personal favorite as a replacement that is also somewhat realistic. Still gutted about Frank though because that leaves RATM as the only headliner i care for rn

Interesting tidbit here . “ Promoters are holding spring 2022 dates in 3,000-to-5,000-seat venues for Rodrigo, concert-industry sources say, to give Rodrigo experience before she graduates to bigger venues. ”
So if she does end up on the lineup I wonder where the placement would be .
