I guess I would've expected that in past years, then, and that didn't happen as far as I recall?

I mean it's a little different this year - the last Coachella was three years ago. Plenty of people, myself very much included, probably felt they were done with the festival after all the cancellations, its been awhile and 2019 was a natural "last Coachella" given the three year hiatus, and then that "welllll let's just watch the streams" bug hit and then I am sure many realized they wanted to return. I can't go this year but I have never had such bad FOMO in my life watching all the streams. My wife and I totally would have tried to go last minute W2 this year after those sets if it weren't for kids we have to take care of LOL.
Anybody already out in Palm Springs and want to see Warpaint at the Alibi on Wednesday for free? I've got one e-ticket to give away. Got good seats for the Ford in August and don't think it's worth it to drive out there.

Wow! What an amazing weekend, still trying to wrap my head around all the great moments.
Favourite sets: Bishop Briggs, Carly rae, arcade fire (turned me into such a big fan), Phoebe, Harry styles (& shania twain!), Caroline polachek, Brockhampton, Stromae, Orville Peck & Jamie XX
I think if I was to do it again I would go weekend 2, a lot of the sets I was excited for were diminished by the audio issues (Megan, Flume, Swedish House Mafia). Appears they had most of it figured out by day 3, along with the water supply/shuttle problems.
Overall had a wonderful time and counting down until 2023! Thank you Coachella

The only thing that jumped out at me is Pizza. Is it really $11 now?
Yep. Burgers are $15. Mac and Cheese $15. Hot dogs are $8. Churros and pretzels are $8. Taco stand had 3 tacos for $14. Think the worst value from who I was with was gf's sister got a bbq brisket sandwhich for $22 I think.
Remember they charge tax on all this on top of that.

You mean SHM being bad at mixing sound issue? Cause I made it a point to be in front of a delay tower and not a dead spot for that. Other then what sounded like glitches with themselves it sounded perfectly fine. The only thing for me personally wouldve been to be within the stage pa to feel the subs Bass up front. But I wasnt wasting the energy to get up there.

How big was the crowd for The Avalanches? Seeing them weekend 2 but want to squeeze in the first 10 minutes of Phoebe Bridgers if their tent wasn’t too packed
