idk I guess I would rather see a few more games to actually see if it’s OP or not before we make a big change like that. Obviously majority rules though.
Also from my end of things it’d be easier to keep it in the night because you guys love to do things last minute
Even though we lost, I still stand behind whacking Tranter. If we kept him alive the game would have come down to convincing one Townie (tranter) on who to vote for. That's a tough sell. There was a fair chance he'd guess a Townie and that would set us up for a strong D5 with two unknowns and Maddog if we made it that far.
Yeah during the game I was thinking the only way T is whacked is if we get a maf day 3 which lowers the odds T guesses maf. Would have been an interesting day 4/5 if a townie was revealed.

Cookin' Mama I guess my thinking is that I don't think anything should restrict the oracle at all. If they want to change their guess 5 times during D1, have at it. New information means new guess, as I see it. However, that could be a nightmare for you as ref, which is why I proposed the night restriction.

It seems crazy to me to say oracle gives a name N1, then all sorts of stuff happens D2 and they can't switch it until N2. If we had settled on a strategy that exiled Tranter D2, he should be able to change his name from N1 with all new info.
Tranter used the oracle role pretty perfectly and it worked exactly as intended, resulting in a town win - I don't see the need to then add more power to the role.

Im all good with them switching there names a lot, doesn’t bother me at all really. My worry is that new information happens at the end of the day and then the Oracle isn’t able to change their guess because the day ends.
