Hahaha!!! I didn’t throw up. But I was super HYPE!!!! I posted this in a different thread already but here it is again. You had to lock up your phone because the show is being televised over the weekend for Global Citizen Fest. But I was able to sneak my phone past security. I only took one video in fear of getting kicked out. They had us waiting for close to 3 hour which absolutely sucked!!! But they were pretty incredible once they hit the stage. I instantly forgot how pissed I was. It was a high school dream come true.
A three hour wait is pretty unforgivable. Happy that you still enjoyed it.
It was pretty brutal. The staff did say there were technical difficulties at soundcheck. And that they had to fix some stuff. Which could be total bullshit. But the energy was wild once they hit the stage.
Glad you didn’t throw up. And who takes your phone and then makes you wait for three hours?
To be fair I don’t think it was the Fugees policy to lock up the phones. I’m pretty sure it was Global Citizens since it’s going to air on television this weekend. They didn’t want anything to leak.

I love the Fugees (the bootleg album was amazing) but idk if I would wait 3 hours with no explanation why. Plus as this is the Headliner thread, that's not a good sign for festivals where timing is really important.
I would wait three hours for some bands but I wouldn't be happy with receiving a 45-minute set afterwards.
But I wasn't there and the people who went seem pretty pleased so what do I know
This is kind of where I am. I’d wait three hours for some acts, but only if I knew I’d be waiting three hours and could plan accordingly and prepare myself mentally. An unannounced three hour delay, the artist would be getting a strongly-worded email from me, let me tell you what.

If Bonnaroo is the weekend of 6/16-19 as presumed, that rules out Deftones, Mastodon, Baroness, High on Fire, Faith No More, Opeth, and tons of other metal/hard rock bands who are playing Graspop in Belgium that weekend
