Are people really that concerned about Otter? It feels to me like his N1 comments were from a townie who doesn't know any better. I found it odd that A) he thought he'd die and B) was surprised he survived the night (in two separate comments), but that feels like a newbie townie to me, not a mafia. It's such an obvious way to draw attention to oneself that it gives me a town read on him.

My vote for you is because I think you are one of the ones that the Dan whack points to, plus you fell out of the D1 runoff, where I think there is normally a mafia - Theo fits both of those criteria too, so he's here with you, and the third is Jortles, who fell out of both runoffs. I have a town read on Jortles personally, so that's not as strange to me. Think we have a good runoff here. Hope it helps the inspector with a N2 guess.
I think the runoff is good but we should probably go straight to a two way and skip the 3way nonsense. it does sort of suck that dropping theo gives kpo and otter who could be in the 2, revotes, but I think regardless of how it shakes out that'll happen to some extent

would've liked some more debate on 2 or 3 and who exactly to put in yesterday, rather than everyone thinking about what I should have done in hindsight after Jortles moving while I was asleep.

Otter seems to be understanding the game quickly, and joined me on trying to bait mafia to keep jortles alive last game. The N1 post read to me as mafia trying to pretend they're town by posting an unsubstantial "Oh no I hope IM not whacked" comment

not super concerned about him but the one I have the obvious least amount of history to work with so applying pressure seems to be a good way to see how they respond.
though my back and forth with him on the previous page I'm 100% putting on it being his 2nd game. there was no d2 3way issue last game because of inspector reveal so I understand why he'd not know the meta about what I was saying.

I thought about responding to you but my only comment was going to be to agree with you. I think on D2 a few things happen that we usually screw up as town - one of them is forgetting about people who were in the D1 runoff (which was one of my focuses on this D2) and the other is getting stuck in a 3 way with a 3-3-3 split. I think that's an easy way for a mafia person to distance. I'm glad we ended up with a 4 way on D2 and I'm also fine that we narrowed it to 2 right away.
I do find all of this chatter about what anyone should have done on D2R1 pretty weird.

So I was originally on Silver, for the reason I've explained (whack pointed enough to him, seemed a decent place to put my initial d2r1 vote), but then upon doing a reread & watching the conversation unfold yesterday, I moved to KPO. Why stay on someone who I really am not too sus of rn?
After I shifted to kpo, you immediately followed up with moving onto Silv to make up for my moving off of him I guess, and talking about how I "led a charge against him," when really I just, well, voted for him once.

ok yeah that helps me out. I was just focused on the numbers game and not your suspicions of anyone specifically.
