They started tweeting again last week for the first time in several months. Nothing about those two dropped acts (neither were must-sees for me, so I'd honestly take longer sets over replacement acts), but it's at least comforting to know this thing is still happening. The lack of hype for this compared to both the 2019 rendition and the other nostalgia fests does make you wonder if this thing will ever have a 3rd iteration, though.
Poster was also updated to indicate Peaches will be performing The Teaches of Peaches in full.

Animal Collective playing the Greek the day before this festival is kind of hilarious, and indicates either a negotiation falling through, or an immensely missed opportunity to hammer home the sweet sounds of 2005. (although their new album is actually good good!)

Kinda makes you think theyre trying to grab a couple more notable names to put on the poster and get one last boost of sales.

They tweeted the set times and then deleted them. MUCH longer sets than the 2019 rendition however. Interpol gets 1:15, nearly everyone else gets 50-60 mins. Looks like the main stage is the rotating one.

I feel like I'm probably going to stay at Orion all day. The only acts I'd leave for would be Cut Copy and !!! but I'm not sure it would be worth losing my spot. Guess I feel it out while I'm there.

Yeah, I'll bounce over for Cut Copy (I don't need to see The Hives again), but I'll probably be parked at the main stage for most of it. Just need to squeeze dinner in somehow, possibly depending on how many post-"Weekend in the City" tracks Bloc Party are playing.
It's probably nothing, but interesting that this "surprise" Pavement show is two days after this.
The only open spot is after M.I.A. on the Stardust stage. If they were playing, I think GV would announce it now to drum up ticket sales. No point waiting. It's not like there's any concern that Pavement might not sell out the Fonda instantly.
