Wow that is really disappointing. I regret not going in 2019 as that lineup was perfect for my tastes. Granted, I feel like 2019 cherry picked a lot of the best artists from that era but this lineup makes it a pretty easy no from me considering it would involve a cross country flight.

This is pretty awesome for my tastes, but not "Travel to the other side of the country" awesome. Give me a fest like this anywhere on the eastern seaboard from northern Virginia on up, and I'd likely be there.

Take my freaking money. "Apologies to the Queen Mary" in full alone is worth the price of admission, and I somehow continually miss Franz Ferdinand at every festival over the years. I don't love every act on here, but the 2019 rendition was stupidly stacked and this might be the best I can do next year without flying halfway around the world to Primavera.
I think this is great. Get to knock out Wolf Parade, The Cribs, Cut Copy, and MIA (never saw any before), Franz, Bloc Party, and !!! are very reliable live acts, if you catch The Shins or Modest Mouse on a good day that's great, and I will always take an Interpol set.
Initial reaction is lineup is great, but bummed they couldn't do this in October/November - this, Cruel World, and Coachella all being around the same time will mean I inevitably can't do one or two.
The second and third line are stupid good. Still surprised its missing a reunion.
I mean, sure, it's good. It's just that having seen almost everyone in the lineup before doesn't help me getting super excited
I think that was the case back in 2019, too. So whats your point? I think its exciting since some of these acts have not come around in a while like Franz, Cut Copy and The Hives.

Cruel World has 27 names and this only has 20 names. sure, cruel world will probably have a bunch of shorter sets (no one needs more than 25 minutes of Gene Loves Jezebel, and I'm a fan!) so I wonder if we'll get a couple more names added or if we'll just get longer sets.
for you out of towners interested in this, check out Cruel World the week before. might make the airfare and accommodations a bit more interesting if you can go to both festivals and have a SoCal vacation.
Yeah, I'm confused by the 'I've seen all these acts' complaint. That's, kind of the point of this festival since they are pulling acts from a specific era that wasn't that long ago. Have I seen most of these acts before? Sure. Now I can catch them all in one show for less than a fraction of what I paid adding up all those concert tickets?? Take my money.

I just got an email as a 2019 attendee with a special code for a Wednesday presale, so if you attended last time, check for that. Everyone else has to wait for Thursday, looks like. Layaway plan is available too.
EDIT: Or not, because Interpol just posted their own code for Wednesday for everyone to use.
Funny, I said I was content never seeing Interpol or Bloc Party again after seeing them perform their debut albums, but here we are.
