Ironically I had moved to England in 1993 so I missed the 94 WC. Not that I would have gone since it wasn't until I lived in England that I started playing

It’s been a pretty depressing summer as an Atleti fan so far, there’s been a bunch of rumors around new players but the ones that we’re likely to get aren’t as good as the rumored names. Like seriously what are we doing getting 33 year old Axel Witsel after a couple years of serious injury problems

LAFC vs Nashville for the first time, we’ll also go against Zimmerman who was one of my favorites. Chiellini and Bale should be starting for LAFC today as well. Looking forward to a good game!!

Yeah, they really need (A) Frenkie to leave for a fee and (B) to be great this year, or they might be in big time trouble.
Went to the Hartford game tonight, where they hosted Birmingham.
I've been to four Hartford games this year so far. (ATL2, DET, at CHS, BHM) They're 0-4. Two of the losses, they gave up the winner in stoppage time.
Tonight was also the third game *this month* they gave up a winner in stoppage time. The same thing happened against Pittsburgh last week. Three weeks ago, they lost in stoppage time despite Tampa Bay being down a man.

I had a 9 team parlay to pay $1000 and Chelsea ruined it before it started. The other 8 teams won. Luckily it was a free bet from joining so I didn't actually lose real money but fuck....
