No idea lol. I don’t think we particularly need any more midfielders, especially if Saul is staying, which it looks like he is. No clue where he fits into the lineup.

Well you only have to worry about 65% of the lineups. When he's fit, there aren't many more who are creative. He was a joy to watch.

well if simeone can get him working defensively that opens up options, but in my mind he’ll occupy a more forward position, like where Correa/Joao fits in. Otherwise it kicks lemar off the starting lineup, and he had a fantastic season last year and doesn’t deserve to be benched at all
So now Hartford has a member of the Guatemalan (Lom), Salvadoran (Walmer Martinez), Honduran (Obregon), and Puerto Rican (Cardona) national teams. Plus Orlando's first round pick this year on loan, and another young kid on loan from NYCFC.
For a newer second division team in a mid size city, I like the fact they're going for it and investing in a solid roster. With a division involving perennial powers Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, and Charleston - its tough to keep up.
Hartford beat Charleston last night to get back into playoff contention, so that was a big win.
Oh, if you got ESPN+, Tampa Bay is at Pittsburgh tonight at 6. First place on the line, should be a good game.

Well, due to board incompetence, we're missing out on all the strikers we were after. Lol. Sevilla hopped on the Rafa Mir deal and stole him while we took a look at Vlahovic, and now we're going into the season with our only true striker being 35 year old Suarez.

Leeds United remain watching football on coke. End to end, it's like a hockey game, I had way too much coffee for that this morning. Blood is still pumping four hours after the final whistle.

Crazy day of games. Pitch invasion in Nice-Marsielle game, Real Madrid-Levante ending 3-3 with a goalie red card, good stuff. De Paul looked great in his first atleti start, had a fantastic assist and really ran the midfield

Simply unbelievable to me that Manchester City essentially turned down Ronaldo this morning. They need a striker, they have the funds...they're gonna regret this lmao

there are reasons why a team might not want Ronaldo

Very true, I know Pep wants team football, and CR7 certainly has an attitude It's just been a pretty interesting transfer window for Manchester City, Grealish is a good signing, but you'd think with all that money they'd be able to land someone with more goal scoring prowess

Ronaldo would be an awful signing for City. I just don't think Pep likes players like he is. I think United is where he should and will go. They will push someone out the door to make room (Martial maybe?)

Also Ronaldo was a definite flop for Juventus. Yeah he was good there but he ate up so much budget they’re pretty much broke now and they failed to win the league last year because of it
