A theory I'm kicking around: in a recent interview, Riot Mike said in the coming weeks they will be announcing a "big move" and that their last "big move" was the decision to host the festival outside. With a couple glaring omissions from the lineup, my guess is they will be adding a permanent 4th day to the Festival. Lolla did it in 2016 and it sounds like last year's pre party was a success. But most convincingly, it's a move that noone asked for and that seems to be what all festivals do these days. So see all of you on the 15th at the official RF preparty featuring Operation Ivy, Taking Back Sunday, Tenacious D, Gang of Four, Andrew WK, and of course, Eve 6!!!

I wonder if you’ll have to have a 3 day pass to attend or not..

What's worth my time to check out on the Sunday undercard? Don't recognize a ton of names there. For reference, stuff in the lower lines of Fri/Sat that I wish was on Sunday include Jeff Rosenstock, Cloud Nothings, Bob Vylan, Algiers, Bully, and Mannequin Pussy

The correct answer is camping at the main stage for NIN. Otherwise, I'd probably check out the Bombpops because I generally like artists signed to Fat Wreck Chords. Treaty of Paris is supposedly a pretty big deal local reunion so I might check them out as well

Pre-party would make sense. But I feel like they would have at least needed to hint at it or acknowledge it. People are buying flights and hotel rooms for the festival, and it’s not easy to just rebook after the fact.
4th day makes more sense for a festival in the summer that appeals to college aged young adults (Lolla). 4th day in the fall for a fest that caters more towards middle aged adults - that’s a tough sell.
Can they use more of the park to add another stage? That seems more likely. But once again, not sure why they wouldn’t announce that now to get people buying tickets at the higher price point.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
does anyone know who LS Dunes is? Closest thing I can find is a low profile ambient band from Norway called "Les Dunes" and uhhhhhh I don't think it's them
Okay I made a first draft of this Clashfinder. It was a bit awkward to make because there's clearly a lot of space on Saturday/Sunday so there will definitely be adds there. I feel like I should add more variety to the bands playing the Roots stage but oh well lol: clashfinder.com/s/rf2022spec/

I saw something about it being some new side project for Anthony Green, whatever that means.

Nothing dealbreaking for me if it works out like this, but I'd be a little annoyed at Pale Waves/Descendents, Mannequin Pussy/Fear, and SDRE/Bully. There's some joke to be made here re: old gen X dude bands vs current female fronted bands, but I simply cannot think of it.
Also Less Than Jake is on Sunday now, so throw it all out.

oh yeah that's right. I bumped them to Sunday and just left a blank space on Friday for now because I really don't feel like fixing it that much. Probably won't affect the schedule for anyone here though.

Treaty of Paris which is a reunion nobody is noticing one bit. Juliana theory, Linda Lindas, Real Friends, Bombpops, Alice Glass ( ex crystal castles ) Jawbox, Lunachicks. And Less Than Jake, cause ska.

YYYs would be an easy choice for me, but I’d love an early afternoon LTJ set

I’m going to readjust at some point maybe this weekend anyway just so I can evenly space out everything (or at least add in a couple more blanks for the time being) so everyone’s fakes will get equally affected, rest assured.

Agreed. The language does seem harsh but for $400+ an email or phone call wouldn't hurt.

This lead me to Treaty of Paris’ Wikipedia page and one of the most gloriously bizarre run on sentences I’ve ever seen -
In 2010, the band released at their 'homecoming" show in Chicago at the Metro, "Currents" in which when performing the show, Mike Chrovat dedicated the song Currents to his beautiful mother who had died the morning of the show but as told by Mike Chorvat, "She had to be here with us tonight."

All jokes aside YYYs and Sleater Kinney are the best two female fronted rock bands still active. Having them potentially back to back is a real power move.
I don't consider PJ Harvey a rock band otherwise our queen Polly would be #1.

What's up with you people thinking PJ doesn't rock? I think she had 4 guitars in the band last time I saw her.

I think the insinuation was more that PJ Harvey is a solo artist and not a band.

It's a nuance but I consider her a solo artist. She obviously rocks but she just feels like an entity (and deity) unto herself.
