garageland and I agree they should do Scream, Dracula, Scream instead.
Indeed. Group Sounds is only 35 minutes though and not a bad listen. SDS would get me more hyped but I suspect we will get some of those songs and Ditchdigger to close.
tbh, I can’t imagine FEAR not playing “the record” in full. They gotta be pushing 70 now.

Lee is 72 right now, so yeah, makes sense for them to be in full play the hits mode.
I'm looking forward to digging into RFTC more. On paper, they look like something I'd really be into. I'll add Scream, Dracula, Scream to my essential listening as well.
Sidebar: I saw Fear were releasing a special 40th anniversary boxset of The Record, but honestly, the RSD version from a couple years ago is one of the highest quality pressings I own. Just something that was random and unexpected.

The SDS RFtC will always be my favorite. There wasn’t a lot of punk or punk adjacent bands (minus ska lol) that used brass in their sound. Rocket were probably the best in the way that it wasn’t a gimmick and actually incorporated horns into their sound.
Group Sounds isn’t a bad record. It just has a few “gonna grab a beer” moments.
Oh, and if anyone sees anything about the wedding chapel coming back, lemme know. It’s my 14th anniversary near the dates and I’m wanna renew our vows.

Push comes to shove, the West Loop Kuma’s has an event room.
"Ketchup on dogs is "fight on sight" for locals. Don't say I didn't warn you."
Is this true about Chicago? Y'all need to settle down.
Yep, the traditional Chicago hot dog is mustard only (with relish, onion, pickle, and tomato on a poppyseed bun). People take the no ketchup thing seriously, but I don’t. Instead I prefer to save my energy for the correct way to cut a pizza.

You cut pizza in half then in concentric circles. Everyone knows that.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
