So apparently to my dismay, I couldn’t tell the difference between The Get Up Kids, Jimmy Eat World, and Christie Front Drive. While I was porch drinking with some friends, they made me listen to 4 Minute Mile. Guess what?
Out of pure snobbery I refuse to acknowledge the possibility there’s a “classic” pop punk I could like so I simply am choosing to not listen to the get up kids.

They used to play like every show that I was at in the Midwest during the mid-Nineties. They never made an impression on me one way or the other but I was always impressed with how much they toured.
I’ll be there if there’s no conflict but Saturday is already pretty stacked for my tastes.

why even go to riot fest
Because those burn outs got no other fest to go to since they dont listen to any music made post 2003?

I’m kidding.
Edit: to clarify I am very open about how much I hate ska but while I don’t listen to it a whole frequently and don’t always like the vocal affectation some pop punk singers have, I am looking forward to likely seeing several bands in that style with my friends at this festival.

Hawthorne Heights just announced a festival over several cities but that last one in Cincinnati looks sus to me. Could those blocked out names be waiting for someone else to announce?
I NEED to know those other Ohio headliners. Already worth going for a day, for sure
It’s not my cup of tea but could make for a good Riot warm-up if you are.
Definitely get that! It's a lot of my wife and I's high school type bands, so it's perfect for a day trip. I'm 99% sure I see Silverstein (new album is incredible) and Motion City Soundtrack as 2 of the blacked out so I'll be getting tickets

I got an answer from Riot. They said I just need to give them the name/info of the person that will be picking it up. SO that said, any takers? $300? If you order your own you're talking $500.
This is my first Riot Fest - stopping in for a day on the way to a friend’s wedding on the west coast instead of dealing with a MDW layover. Was wondering if they ever do after shows like Lolla? Only attending Friday so really hoping to see someone on the Sat/Sun ticket in a small venue.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
