Does them pushing it back going to have any delay on the lineup release? I'd have to assume that they have most of it booked by now, right?
I’d assume so. I’ll be pleasantly surprised when it’s finally announced. Radio silence and no website or anything so far. I’ve got a pretty pessimistic outlook on this so far, wouldn’t be surprised if it is scrapped unless they start moving soon…

Some info based on articles I found:
- 3 stages - Lolla-style event (presume that the lineup will be similar as a result) - Gonna be held from Dorchester St. to the Inlet; supposedly using the boardwalk as well - Around 30,000 attendees - Been in negotiations with acts since the fall
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol

I'm trying to predict what this might look like lol. I know Sweetwood is behind this, but I can't see it being a Shaky Knees-type lineup and it'll probably have to differentiate from S.H.N. Maybe we get one Tim-like headliner?

I was real close to booking a condo in OC for this, but yea. I think I’ll wait to see WTF this is actually gonna be.
It’s kind of amazing how quickly my interest has completely vanished. I don’t know if anything could make me less interested than “multiple sets of OAR”.
Wouldn’t might them on a lineup but a fest built around them? Ugh. So boring.
The Instagram post also says that OAR is helping curate the lineup. Looks like OAR is from Ocean City so that decision makes a little more sense. Even with that though it’s almost shocking to see them build a festival around them. Pretty safe to expect this to look a lot more like SHN & SOS then Firefly.
There have been some pretty tepid lineups announced so far this year but I can't say I ever looked at one and thought "I wish that O.A.R would have helped put this together".

There have been some lineups that have peaked my interest, but not enough to convince me to commit. I was really hoping that this might be the one that I decide to go to since it’s not that far from me. We’ll see what the lineup looks like, but my interest is definitely waning at this point. A headline set from O.A.R. just doesn’t move the needle for my friends and I at all. Lolla, ACL, and III Points are my last hope.

not even Coachella or Primavera?
Those are dreams of mine. Would love to go. Definitely aiming to go to Coachella next year for Frank. Primavera just wasn’t feasible this year with COVID uncertainty and lack of PTO.

OAR is ok, and obviously they are from MD. Buttttt why the fuck would you start with "Lollapalooza-like event" and then the first artist you mention is OAR? That's like Coachella announcing Local Natives will be at the next festival in December. (just threw out a random mid level act from Cali).
