My wife pretty much said I was dumb for this. I didn’t even know Karen O was asian until Michelle Zauner said it in her book.
I’ve never heard of Spiritualized until right now, should I feel ashamed? Listening to a few songs right now but if anyone wants to give me the skinny on them I’d appreciate it

this lineup feels like they got their budget slashed but made it work as well as they could after that
Ticket went up again. Its either just covid or the normal cost of things when it comes to putting on a festival. I think with the way theyre formatting that top 3 it feels less stacked underneath. Make it outright one name at the top and you visually think its stronger. I mean they also limit themselves to 14 acts a day now. It used to be lopsided some years, but not anymore.

Ladies and Gentleman We Are Floating in Space is one of my favorite albums ever, check that out, and they put out a live album shortly after, Live at Royal Albert Hall, that I also love. Start there and you can't go too wrong wherever you go next, most of their discography is solid. Maybe do Let It Come down or Sweet Heart Sweet Light next.

Just hope they can keep it in the low $200 zone for a bit. Although its still good value since a single day is $100. So theyve made it out that the 3rd day is a bonus for buying the weekend ticket.

Holy shit that Sunday. The first line of the other 2 days is great too, but I don't know a hell of a lot under those lines. What I do know is good shid though

Pretty much where I'm at with this. This is good. Saturday especially is pretty bonkers top to bottom, and I'm not even a huge Mitski fan. Thing is, I recently started a new job, so I'm starting over with no vacation days, and I don't know if something else will come up this year that I'd regret not saving them for instead. TBD, friends!
Usually, I’d just tell Chicago peeps to just go after work on Friday and not worry about taking days off. However, you’d miss cupcakke this year, and then what is even the point?
