I don’t think Firefly Music Festival will be kept in September because the weather will be getting cooler. And it will move back to June when it’s warm and hot.
I’d be perfectly fine if the attendance was the same as this year. Plenty of space to move around. Lots of college kids, but less high schoolers, which was nice. If people want to make it work, they’ll make it happen.

Damn it, just realized Firefly and Riot Fest will be right up against each other again. I guess I'll have to sell that ticket. I'll be fucking fuming if Riot Fest is NiN - MCR - Misfits. Actually, if it's that I'll just have to make it work to go to both.

There is room for MCR on their tour dates for that to be possible. Theyll just have to haul ass to florida for the next day.
If FF keeps up with actually having a "real" Thursday headliner they could also do that. Going from NJ to Delaware Wed-Thur is pretty easy. But granted, I think Billie was only a headliner for Thursday this year because it fit with the rearranged dates.
I had heard before the pandemic that the plan was to turn Thursday into a "full" day. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a major Thursday headliner again. With the rain this year, it's hard to determine how the attendance worked out.
Also, I'm surprised at the lack of Twenty One Pilots so far since The Killers were here this year.

That's true, and MCR would fit perfect for that Thursday date. Twenty One Pilots would definitely be in play now, they weren't before because they are in Europe in June 2022.

in their defense they're still great live and the added backing band is making a lot of the songs i'm not too crazy over sound really good.

Yeah, they have a guitarist, bassist, and two guys behind that do synths/trumpet/guitar. (not sure if you're familiar with him but Dr. Blum from Misterwives is one of those guys) They're not on stage the whole time, mainly through the middle of the show and after the encore for Shy Away but the beginning and end is still just Tyler and Josh.

I bet Firefly will get two female headliners again, since they clearly went for a diverse lineup this past year.
Any guesses besides Florence, Miley, Dua, Cardi, Lorde, and Halsey?
Adele would be a dream scenario lol. Nevertheless, some other realistic options are Kacey, Lana, and Stevie (even though I don’t see her fitting the demographic).
