Any reason to hope this could end up being better than Roo this year? Maybe the permanent move to Fall leads to bookings targeted at an older on average audience given college kids will be busy? Rage still headlining?

I think it's more likely RATM cancels their entire tour. If they aren't playing Coachella, I'm not holding my breathe they are playing anywhere later this year. I'm also not holding out hope Firefly all the sudden shifts gear and starts booking better (for inforoo purposes) lineups. If you like what they booked in the past few years that's pretty much what to expect.

It'll be interesting to see what Rage does with Boston Calling when that lineup drops. Rage is really all I need to get myself to go to this given my proximity to it. Bonus points if My Chemical Romance also headliners, given how likely that looks given their tour dates.

There are a ton of tickets fr the Rage tour sitting around on TM cause people got refunds so long ago and nobody bothered to check cause they thought things were sold out.

True, but unfortunately most of those are for seats rather than the floor. Wouldn't really feel like a Rage show to me from the seats.
Still also a possibility that they scrap the Firefly appearance and announce the Camden date again in the 5 day gap that's still there in the august tour window before NY when announcing the new postponed dates

My guess would be MCR would be the RATM replacement, so to speak. I doubt both show up.

If Rage and MCR headline, the rest of the lineup could be worse than Hangout and I'd be there.

Given how MCR has had a Firefly sized whole in their schedule since long before Rage decided to postpone their early year shows, I don't see why you'd think the two are mutually exclusive. I could definitely see this fest doing something like Rage - MCR - Dua Lipa or Lorde - Halsey.
