I know the Killers will be the same Killers I've seen several times by now, but I'm leaning Saturday if I can get in under face value because even the same Killers show is still a decent time, and there's also Queen Carly. Depends on the rest of the day, too, I suppose.
SZA is a good get, IMO. Haven't seen her on other festival lineups, yet, and she's due a headlining victory lap after her record blew up.

SZA is on Osheaga but yea i agree she’s a great get for a smaller fest like Gov Ball

It seems silly but if The Killers are indeed playing then I gotta go on Saturday even though I've pretty much sworn this fest off - been waiting a long time for them to play in Queens so I can say I've seen them in all five boroughs, the only band I can say that about! Since I would only go that day I might have to spring for VIP to make things tolerable.

interested in hearing how you saw them in the Bronx and Staten Island

There was a one and done festival called Across the Narrows in 2005, it was a two day festival where one lineup played the minor league ballpark in Coney Island and the other lineup played the minor league ballpark in Staten Island, and then they swapped. Oasis and The Killers headlined each lineup - I saw The Killers in Staten Island that way. It was one of their earliest festival headlining gigs. I do remember the show fondly because while it was in a (small) stadium, the fest was very poorly sold, so the show turned out to be very intimate!
The Bronx show was a special AMEX Unstaged show in 2012 at the Paradise Theater on the Grand Concourse by Fordham Road, which was being used for a short time for a few shows (think it was a Bowery Presents experiment), that was very cool too, was in the upper balcony but a guy came up and upgraded me to the floor a couple of songs in!

I’ll prob get a day pass the week of for Killers and 3 decent undercards.
Yeah also feel like that’s not very likely based off e previous few lineups but even booking the Killers alone gives me some hope there might be something for an above 21 year old crowd (are The Killers popular with the kids?)

It’s also the first rock headliner they’ve had since Florence and the Strokes in 2019, which is nice. Here’s hoping they get a full 90 minutes or, heaven forfend, an old-school full two hours.

I haven't attended since Florence which was 2019 but what I really hope for is that they do counter programming for headliners to decrease the crowd size at the headliner stage

There was some overlap last year for Lizzo and Odesza on Friday and Saturday, and Kendrick was unopposed on Sunday. I'm guessing we'll see something counterprogrammed against the Killers, at least. Not sure about Post, and I'd bet money SZA will be completely unopposed.
I do miss the old days when there was always essentially a second headliner playing opposite the main one. My first My Morning Jacket show was their set opposite Drake in 2015 and it was sick.
