Strokes are playing with RHCP at MetLife and there is a gap which makes me believe they are holding out on a second date (which itself is probably delayed due to The Strokes trying to reschedule their Barclays date).
Kanye seems like a safe (boring) bet at this point.

Yeah but majority of GovBall attendees probably weren’t born yet the last time Kanye headlined so it’s fine

I buy this. They were lucky to have booked him during his Yeezus rollout, booked him twice in his Pablo cycle, and tried again in 2019. If Coachella's drop dead date has passed, can they delay Gov Ball from dropping because of one name?
