And then who all is going to the Sylvan Esso showcase later in May, and which night(s)? I haven't bought yet but am eyeing the Moses Sumney one.
I was thinking about doing The Antlers too on May 8th but then Slingshot announced & Andy Stott's show is that night, sooo... that made my decision pretty easy.
Was going to SE but seeing Dry Cleaning at the Cradle on that Friday and Sunday seeing Haim in Wilmy

I was there - hadn’t been online hardly any this week because of work. Almost bailed out last night because of an early start today but glad I didn’t. They put on such a fun show. Decided to call it after Ready For The Floor.
Unless I see something last second, my next two shows are Sir Paul in Winston Salem and Jason Isbell in Asheville.
Anyone wanna ride with me to see Fontaines D.C. in Asheville? Thur-Sep-29 At the Peel. Not looking to drive by myself.
Assuming I am in town that week I should be at that show. Send me an FB message a few days before if you end up coming down.
Anybody catching acts in Asheville that are traveling to and from Roo? I have close friends staying with us this weekend for the Lord Huron show on Saturday. Found somebody local selling tickets for less than face, even though it is sold out - so I'll be there for that. War on Drugs will be a game-time decision tomorrow with the heat + pop up storms in the forecast.

I haven’t been in years but Double D’s for coffee is decent. It’s not the best but a truly unique cafe. Mamacita's Taqueria is a great place for pre-show food and right next to Wicked Weed Brewing Pub which has a fun patio.
These are all downtown and all in walking distance of each other.
I'll be in Asheville this weekend for both Bon Iver Shows at Rabbit Rabbit.
Can I get some recommendations for: Breweries Good local roasters/coffee Vegetarian food
also anything else I should check out while I'm there? thanks!
Breweries - omg there are like 101, so many good ones to check out. If you like sours and funky/saison type beers, def make it to Burial. Prob skip Wicked Weed because it just gets so insanely packed on weekends & there are so many other good ones to check out. Like Bhramari, DSSLVR, One World Brewing… oh and if you like ciders, both Noble & Urban Orchard are great.
Veg food - Laughing Seed, Rosetta’s, Plant, and Dobra Teahouse (super cute vibe and delicious lunch food or light dinner fare) are all fully veg. And then lots of good Asian eateries with plenty of veg options, and Salsa’s is good for Mexican.

Are we really gonna skip 4 time James Beard award winner Katie Button’s Cúrate for tapas?
If you like hot spinning wax that makes sound, you’ll stumble on a few shops in the downtown area that are great. My favorite though is a short drive: www.harvest-records.com/

he asked for veg friendly, GL!
I went to Curate many moons ago, back when I still ate not only dairy & eggs but also poultry & seafood, and it was delish. But it wouldn't crack Top Ten of places I'd recommend in Asheville for someone who is veg since you'd be pretty limited in what you can order there.
