I went to Curate many moons ago, back when I still ate not only dairy & eggs but also poultry & seafood, and it was delish. But it wouldn't crack Top Ten of places I'd recommend in Asheville for someone who is veg since you'd be pretty limited in what you can order there.

Absolutely agree. If I lived in Raleigh, it would be a no brainer. That said, I dunno if I’d drive 3 hours and spend the money on a hotel for it.

I may be able to pull off a Saturday single day if it’s decent enough. I have Chicago/Riot Fest the weekend after and saving pennies for drinks those days.
The concert lineup for Asheville in September & October is really, really going to hurt my bank account. Also, for some reason Salvage Station is saying the Keller show will be on the indoor stage. Last time he played the venue he sold the outdoor venue pretty well.
Billy Strings tickets for his Halloween run going on sale Friday. Don't sleep on grabbing those tickets.
We made it to Fort Smith Arkansas and got a room gonna hit Memphis and Nashville on our way to Asheville tomorrow. Thanks for all the recommendations!

So we only ate at one restaurant, Tupelo Honey, which was real good. I tried to get the group to do the Laughing Seed but got vetoed.
I did go to Burial which I really liked, they had a good jazz/funk band that did an amazing 10 minute rendition of the Night Court theme song. Went to the Funkatorium which was good as well and we ate there. Had a pre show beer at Asheville brewing and some cocktails at Boomers on the corner. My goddaughter and her mom went shopping and they said they enjoyed all the shops in the area.
Overall it was a great time, it was cool seeing all my Bon Iver homies again. If you check out the subreddit you’ll see pictures of everyone lol.
We hit Third Man in Nashville and Goner Records in Memphis on the way home. Currently in Amarillo Tx making the drive home.
The big thing I didn’t factor in was the time change so I was always lagging 3 hours behind which kinda sucked because I didn’t have as much time to wander before the meetups and shows as I wanted.
