feel like I've seen roughly this same behavior in regards to wings v nachos where everyone was like look at these professionally bbqd wings vs movie theater chips and cheese

Whoa, whoa, whoa - I'd never besmirch the nacho. Man. Now I have to do some soul searching.
When I think of donuts, I think Dunkin and Krispy Kreme or the junk you get at bodegas or grocery stores. If you’re getting stuff like this from a not bakery/treat shop place, I need to move to Philly.
also, if you’re buying a dozen treat shop donuts then you may wanna check out cocaine. It’s a waaaaay cheaper habit and just as effective.
Sausage shouldn't go out so early. Besides the fact that it tastes delicious, it's also possibly the most successfully vegetarianized meat since there are neither texture nor flavoring issues.
Since we're allowing for veggie interpretations here, I feel like Rummy 500 should be focusing her fire elsewhere. Like bacon. I have never had an acceptable vegetarian bacon option. Granted, bacon's not going anywhere for a while because, let's face it, it tastes so good that humans still eat it despite how terrible it is for us.
Donuts are way worse for you thank bacon or sausage
Duck Donuts are so good that's all I'll eat now when it comes to donuts. When I do get donuts, I drive 15 mins out of the way to Duck Donuts and pass at least two Dunkins on the way. They're awesome.
Donuts. like cereal, have so many different flavor combinations to choose from that the only real excuse to vote them off is that they're not good for you but neither are a lot of these things.
I am not a fan of sweet stuff unless it is warm, ungodly sticky and can just drip right off of my chin like I’m a heathen. Savory is where it’s at.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

(falls all over self searching for the phrasing thread).
like no I wouldn't order a gluten/sugar/fat free donut (which I'm sure exist), but I wouldn't order faux sausage either, even if they're both healthier than a regular donut
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

I’ll throw in my pitch for Pinkbox Doughnuts in Las Vegas. They are delightful. My favorites are the basics - glazed chocolate cake, raspberry jam filled, and buttermilk bars - but they also do fun stuff like s’mores, pb&j, and banana pudding.
But I’m still voting donuts this round because I don’t prefer sweets for breakfast.

Dave Maynar just wait until you hear about Eggslut.
Oh man, just looked at their menu and I’m sorry I never ate there (my husband is pretty strictly anti-egg (when not used as an ingredient), though, so it wouldn’t really have been on the table).
Dave Maynar just wait until you hear about Eggslut.
I tried to hit up Eggslut when I was in L.A. earlier this year, but was thwarted multiple times by the RIDICULOUSLY long line at the Venice location. Ridiculous, I say.
Scrambled eggs < egg's benedict. And while I love donuts, I understand it goes now (or in a few). Only eat it like once or twice a week in weekends, but as a regular breakfast I wouldn't eat it every single day if I could/wanted to.
