Has anyone mentioned The Highwomen? I notice Brandi Carlile has a break in her tour around Roo, and none of the others appear to have a tour planned as of now. They have only a single re-scheduled show at Wrigley on their calendar right now.
I’ve been predicting them since they formed, but the fact that they’ve barely done any shows at all doesn’t really bode well for a random Bonnaroo appearance

I think one of them had a baby shortly after the album came out and then covid hit. Brandi was touring on her own last year. I think Amanda was touring with her husband.

I think Amanda did the Ryman shows with Jason, but other than that, I don't believe she's toured with him this year. I saw him three times this year (including twice this past weekend), and sadly, no Amanda.
I'm somewhat optimistic because random appearances are all they have really done. Bonnaroo is as likely as anything else.
glad i'm not the only one here enjoying it! it's 100% because of the host. the monologue part of the pod is far and away the best part. the little interviews are nice and all but his research and radio skills are what make the pod great.
i've still got so many to listen to, but i really enjoyed the C.R.E.A.M., November Rain, Enter Sandman, and Nuthin but a G Thang episodes.
I'm going in order from oldest to newest. I'm on Smashing Pumpkins ATM so I've got a long way to go.
You're right, the interviews are... fine. The host is great. It also helps that I peaked in the mid 90's so this music is all so vital to me.
Check that: I just got to Bill Simmons taking about the Smashing Pumpkins and Counting Crows. Incredible stuff.

haven't listened to that one yet. i know bill brings that boomer energy sometimes but he's a talented radio guy. always keeps the Rewatchables pods moving along.
i never really saw the talent it takes to make a podcast episode engaging until i listened to a bunch of boring podcasts.

to be clear i love bill. i'm not a sports guy so i don't listen to his regular podcast but i love hearing him across the The Ringer universe. and i like The Ringer in general, so kudos to him for building that up. the rewatchables is one of the nerdiest and most fun podcasts to listen to.

If you aren’t a sports fan than i guess your feelings towards BS aren’t too strong. I love the ringer podcasts. Rewatchables is a lot of fun. Been listening to The Watch Aka Chris and Andy since mad men was on tv. Love they added Ryen Russillo but you don’t listen to sports pods. The Midnight Boys pod is my fav ringer pod at the moment. Hella funny and nerdy but pretty much superhero tv and movie stuff/sprinkle in major blockbuster franchise stuff. Crazy how far he’s taken the BS report.
With the caveat that she has a Ryman date etc etc etc, this Rolling Stone profile reveals that Mitski now lives in Nashville, so that’s something interesting to note for the future:

Just saw Disclosure last night. What a groovy show. I’d absolutely see them again. I hope they are at Roo and more NA lineups in general because they bring great vibes.
