Saw her a few weeks ago at a tiny venue. Amazing performance. I haven’t seen many shows this year but she was one of the best.
I am worried how it will translate to an outdoor setting.
Saw her at Pitchfork. It was fine at 1pm although the rainy weather didnt do any favors on the crowd. People dug it but there will be talkers.
Thanks both -- I adore her record and am super glad to hear it translates live. Really excited for this one. Figure it won't be tough to get close and that'll help
Head in The Clouds posted their set times and they have a dance tent so thats probably The 19th Hole stage. Although there is no map posted yet for this weekend they have a parking map and it looks lile things will be confined to what was at Cruel World and JLH.
Question for those who attended JLH or Cruel World: We're staying at a nearby hotel, would there be any advantage (aside from maybe saving a couple bucks due to shorter ride) to taking Uber to the shuttle lot and riding the shuttle in vs just taking Uber to the fest?

just looked at the parking map... didn't realize this is this weekend. am i understanding this correctly - they're going to use the west side of the golf course for parking?? is our grass about to be like weekend 2 coachella??

Well the shuttle is free and at the end of the night it aint gonna be cheap getting out of there.

No. The parking was like that at the other fests, so it seems theyre going to keep it small.

alright, post-RATM run finally able to turn my attention to this. locked down a ticket yesterday. schedule seems pretty good, bummer to miss shame on sunday but c'est la vie. otherwise:
saturday: ??? might just show up at 3 or so > Leon Vynehall (great add) > Yves Tumor (maybe a little Ying Yang Twins between) > Palms Trax/Earl split dependent on my mood > MCDE > a little Mac > Kaytranada/Despacio > Honey Dijon > LCD. looking like a very DJ heavy day for me which I am pretty down for, been a while on that front.
sunday: Mike Watt if I show up in time > Pachyman > Nothing > Mdou Moctar > Wet Leg > Slowthai > IDLES (this main stage run rules) > Turnstile > Four Tet + Floating Points > Strokes or Godspeed again dependent on my mood

So stoked for this fest I've been obsessing over it for what feels like almost a year now. See yall in those pits ! fingers crossed for a layout map soon !
buddy of mine may have one, going to be closer to a game time call for him but if you don't have one by this time next week hit me and i will check in with him
I’ve been lurking for the last week or two on this thread just like back in the Coachella board days. But I joined to say a couple things after looking at some random snapchats for HITC: 1) it doesn’t look super grassy (mostly dead grass with patches of dirt), then again it shouldn’t be Coachella level dust (I would hope) 2) did anyone notice that whatever the dj tent that was there had a checkerboard floor? Could that tent be Despacio and main dj stage for TANP will be elsewhere (and/or possibly not a tent)?
Lastly, I am working on an old template for a “preferred layout” set schedule. One that’s way easier to read imo. Keeping the flame alive from some old boardie who used to make ‘em for Coachella.
If I’m allowed/able to figure out how to post that here I will if people are interested.
